Dr. Sofia Gofman, MD

The worst doctor that I have ever met! Rude and unprofessional. When I asked her to fill the form for the surgery for my daughter she said to pick up it the next day, I was disappointed. Ok I come the next day and of course there is no form, and she said to the receptionist that she already gave it to me. Also her advises for my kids was terrible.

We usually see Dr. Logeman, however he was not in office on this day. If it was not for him we would not go to Oxford Pediatrics! I came in because my son had 100-102 temperature. Dr. Gofman felt around my son's jaw and then checked his lungs. Told me he dont look sick and that it was just a virus. She ask 'Me'(only a teacher)what I wanted to do! She the Dr. not me, isn't she supposed to give us the diagnosis? I told her if you think he's fine then ok, so we left. We were there 5 minutes. Well the week before my daughter had the flu and Dr. Gofman new this due to telling her that was a concern of min.,We left and an I started driving down road something told me 'no I'm having him checked for the flu.' So I get back to office, the nurse tests for flu and sure enough my son had the flu A! She was very short in her responses and said I'll call it in. Then she ask me 'do you even have insurance." At this point I was pretty mad so as I was walking out of exam room I had a question to ask… receptionist and Dr. Gofman walks out of another room and waves(not a goodbye wave) her hand at me and says 'you can leave now.' Dr. Gofman seems very unprofessional and only there to collect her big paycheck for no work!!

When I went to the doctor, first of all it was empty. I was happy to see that because we didnt have to wait too much bcoz there was no one there. 2 of my children had appointments there. She went through their physical exam quickly to which I was not satisfied. She then asked to have the blood tests done which I got done 3 weeks ago and no results are given to me till now. Whenever I call the office they giv different time to call. Atleast the doctor should call back when she knows Im calling her everyday.

so rude and cold. both her and the front desk lady have disgusting attitudes. i really recommend going somewhere else!! her advice is so basic that a google search is better. honestly will make u feel uncomfortable

Doctor Goffman herself is a knowledgable doctor. But her sister is a which! I've never seen a person so rude. My baby boy had a high fever I was trying to get in contact with the doctor about what medication with give and how much of it... Her sister told me to give her whatever I gave last time... When I explained to her he weighs more now and it will be different dose, she told me that's not her problem and she can't help me and simply hung up the phone. Doctor Goffman office would be great if she has a nice secretary but because of her sister she ruins her business and makes the stay very uncomfortable.

Felt my daughter was treated well by Dr. Gofman. Value her professionalism & caring, down-to-earth manner. Good, honest, practical medical advice: reminds me of the doctor I had as a child. No complaints at all; we've always been treated well by both the doctor & receptionist. If you seek tv's to entertain the kids or a large office & staff, you may prefer elsewhere. We are happy to stay.

she is excellent but her sister the secretary just doesn't fit, she is mean, sour, not a good look for her office.

Dr Gofman is very knowledgable and professional. She has helped my son on numerous occasions. He is now older and she always find a good way to connect with him, particularly in his pre-teen years. She is always to the point, drama-less, and I like going to her.

I have been taking my now 3 yr old to her for 2 yrs and finally decided to switch pediatricians after our last vist due to the unprofessional manner in which her office is run. The toilet seat in the bathroom has been broken for over a yr and never been fixed. Which might be ok when the wait time is not so bad but when it is a long wait how do you get your 3 yr old to use the potty with a broken seat, it's hard enough for and adult to use. When we came into to get my sons health card filled out for school she lost it and blamed it on me. Then she said she would fill out her own and to come back in 15 mintues. Her sister/secretary who is always very rude then anounced to me that they were too busy to fill out the form and I would have to come back tommorrow as they were only seeing sick children that day. I reminded her the reason why we came was to get his card filled out for school and screamed that I was not leaving the office until I got it. They finally gave it to me after I… was getting hysterical. I don't know how she stays in buisness being so unprofessional and rude. I know of two other moms in the neighborhood that also had a bad experience with her and switched doctors.

She is an alright doctor, the reason people can always get appointments is because she is always available because she doesnt have many patients. I was her patient when I was a lot younger and her secretary/sister who only has a job because of dr. gofman is SO RUDE. she was always so rude to my mom I never liked her. She thinks she is above everyone for what purposes I have no clue. and dr. Goffman is very condescending, there is always a nice way to go about things and she never was good at that. Once again the secretary is rude beyond belief!!!! DO NOT GO!!!!!
