Dr. Sofia Mahari, MD

The care I received from her and her team was truly exceptional. Appointments were well-organized, and I never felt rushed. She has a rare combination of deep medical expertise and genuine kindness that made me feel safe and supported every step of the way.

When I was breastfeeding, Dr. Mahari prescribed me birth control pills that made my milk completely dry up. She told me they would be fine to take while breastfeeding, however that was not the case. I also felt that while I was telling her my issues at the doctors office, she kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me speak. A few months later I contacted her to refill a prescription, and got no response. I do not recommend.

I had been used to go Dr. Mahari 3 yrs ago but due to a change in insurance coverage of mine I had to leave that Hospital system. I am now able to go to her again. She is excellent overall & very knowledgeable with experience! B However, she looked very rushed on this appointment. I noticed at this appointment that for some reason she wanted it short in quickly addressing issues. I had not noticed it before until this visit. Other than that she is very loving, caring & compassionate even hugs her patients!

She is the worst doctor I ever met!!! My mom was already a high risk pregnancy and she told my mom that she did not hear the baby heart beat. That same day we went to the emergency and they told her that her baby was fine and that’s there was a heart beat. What kind of a doctor will tell a person that there baby is died if it wasn’t!!!

I was sent to her and it was one of the worst experience in my pregnancy, she was rude mannered and I cut the office visit short. Where does Valley Medical find these people. I don't recommend anyone to her. I don't trust her working around any patients.

She is am amazing doctor, listens and cares. would recommend to go to a physician like her.

Very professional, yet gentle and genuinely caring. Great bedside manner. Trustworthy and very considerate.
