Dr. Sohail Shariff, MD

Dr. Sohail Shariff is amazing. I am ninety-three years young and have been a patient of his for four years now. He listens and hears what you have to say. He has worked with my family and myself and is open to other avenues besides the normal. He has taken better care of me than any doctor I have seen before. We listen to eachother and work together as a patient and doctor should. His staff and front desk is always wonderful. Makenzie was his nurse and recently moved on to further his education he was the greatest always fun and professional at the same time. I feel like I am visiting my family when I go there and so do my daughters who take care of me. I would highly recommend Dr. Sohail Shariff to anyone. Good doctors are hard to find and the best are even harder to find and I have found the best. You do know when a doctor is good when every doctor you mention his name too has high praises and so do the patients I have met in the waiting room. I have never waited longer than… 15 minutes and that was probably twice. Great doctors are worth the wait and he is one of them.

Never had a problem with the service from the doctor, however, I deployed in 2019 and received a 90 dollar bill. Paid when I returned and the office received and collected payment. Still ended up sending bill to collections. Been trying to remove this collection ever since with zero assistance from the doctors office.

This doctor doesn't return calls promptly, is dismissive of concerns, drags his feet finishing needed forms, and in general, doesn't care one way or the other about his patients--it feels as though he's in it for the Medicare money. You will be very frustrated if you become his patient. I cannot recommend him at this time.

He is the worst. You can't talk to him or his staff on the phone. He is delaying our move because he hasn't done the State required documents but he has had the documents for a week or more. He was just too lazy to fill out the documents. He apparently doesn't care that he is causing a problem by not doing the paperwork. My Mother's move to Tampa is holding us hostage . He only cares about the money he makes thru medicare.

Kind, knowledgeable and efficient

I have been a patient of Dr. Shariff’s for nearly two years. He has literally been a life saver and I appreciate his professionalism and knowledge.

Constantly overbooked, never follow through on anything, rude front desk.

Venice Gardens Independent Care- cannot get hold of him, tells you everything you want to hear, prescriptions take forever along with faxes, answering calls, writing or faxing or calling on refill scripts. The worst I’ve ever dealt with.

Hard to contact. Doesn't,t return calls.
