Dr. Altafi took excellent care of my father who was taken to the hospital with gastric upset symptoms and extreme dizziness. Once admitted, it was found that he had internal bleeding of an unknown location. Dr. Altafi was our consulting physician and also performed the endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures during which he was able to locate and diagnose the source of the bleed. After the procedure, he immediately met with my mother and myself to explain his findings and the next course of action. He was very thorough, informative, extremely easy to talk to and in no way rushed our conversation. He is also very kind and compassionate. He also came to see my father prior to discharge to answer any last minute questions that we may have had. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any kind of GI care at Crouse!
