Dr. Sol Shea Zimmerman, MD

I have been using Dr. Zimmerman as a pediatrician since my oldest was born 8 years ago. At each visit dr. Zimmerman is patient and thorough. He is never rushed and always answers all my questions- even the silly ones- without ever making me feel embarrassed for asking. I feel like Dr. Zimmerman gives parents the instructions they wish their children came with. At each stage of development he tells you what to expect, how to recognize what's normal, and how to handle what's not. It is thanks to Dr. Z that my children learned to sleep through the night without difficulty, eat all different kinds of foods, and do not have pacifiers clipped to their shirts like army medals, just to name a few. Dr. Zimmerman is also incredibly gentle with my children. At every visit he talks directly to them, even when they are babies. Each of my 4 kids feels like Dr. Z is their buddy and I have never had to deal with fear or anxiety about going to the doctor. I can not begin to describe how grateful I… am to have Dr. Zimmerman as my pediatrician. A few years ago I moved to New Jersey and have met with pediatricians locally. None of them hold a candle to Dr. Z in expertise, patience or bedside manner. Whenever I have a concern or a question I still call Dr. Zimmerman at Pediatric Associates. And even if I don't, I make it a point to schedule a visit at least once a year to get the next chapter in the parenting handbook!

Dr. Zimmerman thoroughly knows what he is doing, and he knows it right. He takes time to explain the situation to the parent and is very accurate in his diagnosis. He is very knowledgeable and it reflects in time spent with him. I totally trust him to take the best care of my kids! Highly recommended!

My kids were with the doc 7 years. Doc is caring, knowledgable, informative. Staff gives this practice a black mark. Generally ok, but if there is slightest problem and you need to deal with the administration, be aware that staff's attitude towards parents is pretty much the opposite of the doc's.
