Total creap that makes fun of patients under anesthesia

He ridiculed his patient under anesthesia and worse. He should not be practicing medicine. Awful judgement. Beware.

Dr. Shah is one of the best doctors. Very thorough, competent and takes his responsibilities seriously.

Very direct. Very responsive. Whenever I have a question, he provides a thorough response. He listens to my issues.

My primary care physician referred me to this doctor, I was hesitant because of the bad reviews, but decided to go any way as I trusted my primary care physician; huge mistake; I should have gone with my first instinct and declined; I would not trust my body to this man and neither should you. He has an official reprimand from the Virginia board of medicine and for good reason: making fun of a patient during a colonoscopy when he is in the most vulnerable position of his life, what a despicable act, where do they find these people…… I am also done with my PCP, she should have never referred me to him, “what was she thinking”, it confirms that we are just dollar signs to these people. Just makes me mad that’s all……

I’ve been seeing Dr. Shah for 4 years. During each of my visits I found him to be very patient & understanding. I never felt rushed & he explained everything thoroughly. The office staff are also very nice.

I have seen Dr. Shah for many years. There are two reasons why: 1) He is incredibly knowledgeable about areas in his specialty and those that bump up against it, and 2) He spends the time necessary to address your problem and any questions. So many doctors run out. Even though he is busy, he makes sure all issues have been addressed. His intelligence and skill are clear, and I have referred several friends as a result.

I was referred by another Doctor to this practice. I looked them up online, and am disappointed I was referred to them at all. I researched the practice/doctors, you're welcome--- Dr. Solomon Shah's ethics are extremely questionable. I am frankly surprised he is still licensed to practice. From a previous lawsuit (google it!) to his seemingly very messy personal life; It all spills together in my opinion. Apparently he is also married to a woman who is most likely just using him and his money, and has a boyfriend on the side (maybe they both do). How can a doctor practice successfully and maybe even ethically with that much mess in their lives, professionally and personally?

I am surprised a practitioner who jokes and pokes fun at a patient while under anthetic and has an official reprimand on his record is still practicing medicine in such a competitive place such as Northern Virginia. If you have a choice and you do, choose someone else. Not sure how these callous individuals make it all the way thru med school and residency.

Horrible experience with this poor excuse for a physician.
