Dr. Solomon Herman Chaim, MD

I am seeing Dr. Chaim for several foot issues related to rheumatoid arthritis including hammer toe, bone spurs, tendinitis, achilles tendon & other arthritis issues. I've had surgery on my right foot & will be doing my left foot in May. Dr Chaim & his staff have been so wonderful to work with. Everyone at Legacy Orthopedics is very professional and organized. My first surgery went very smoothly thanks to Tiffany's help. Dr. Chaim explains everything very clearly & even gave me images of my foot post surgery. If you have foot or ankle problems, I highly recommend Dr. Chaim. I have already told several of my friends with foot issues to go to see Dr Chaim at Legacy Orthopedics.

I could barely walk the first time I saw him. He looked at my x-rays & immediately knew the problem. Surgery was scheduled the next week. While the recovery was intense, I was able to walk in a few months. 2 years later, the same surgery had to be done to my other foot. Same great results! Now I walk pain free!!!

Dr. Chaim and his staff are incredible. I would (and have) recommend him to anyone in need of his practice area. Dr. Chaim is efficient and thorough, yet he is a friendly, approachable Doctor. Dr. Chaim's staff are great to work with, always laughing and smiling and I feel lucky to have landed as a patient of his. I've had three surgeries performed by Dr. Chaim, and have had good outcomes on all.

Dr. Chaim and his staff are wonderful. After injuring my ankle, and needing surgery, Dr. Chaim patiently explained every detail of my procedure. He was so patient, and caring, and everything went very well. My follow-up appointments were also very efficient, and all my post-op questions were answered in detail. Everyone on Dr. Chaim's team was awesome, and professional.

My first appointment I was taken back and waited over an hour to see the doctor. He was polite and quick. All the office personelle I saw were in sweats and a tee shirt, extremely casual. I was there on recommendation from the wife of Dr. McGarry (another doctor at the practice). I had a double bunionectomy at Baylor Medical Center (they were amazing!! Everyone was so kind and extremely helpful). For follow up care: I had about 12 pain pills left so I called on Wednesday to get a refill. I don't finally make contact with any of the staff until Friday around 2pm (I live an hour from the facility) and they close at 5pm. I had been calling and leaving messages multiple times a day since Wednesday during work hours with no reply. They tell me on Friday before 2pm that I can pick up my prescription and that it has been at the front desk since Wednesday. There was no way for me to make it to the office at that point. I had to wait the weekend until Monday. It was awful. Then, my… FIRST follow up appointment after having both feet operated on (mine was so bad the bone had to be broken and reset with metal braces holding it in place), I see Dr. Solomon Chaim right outside my exam room sitting at a computer and he does not even bother to come in the room. What surgeon operates and does not check on his work?? What doctor do you know would recommend NO follow up care?? Dr. Chaim has NEVER SEEN my feet post-op. how The office was sloppy and the after care wasn't just sloppy, it does not exist at this practice. You're on your own! The tech comes in and changes my bandages then gives me a paper with my medical history on it and LEAVES without saying anything. My mom drove me to my appointment and we were both sitting there for awhile when we realized she was not coming back! At the appointment I had asked the tech what I could be doing physically and she tells me I can be walking around. At this point it has been a week since my surgery and I have been in a wheelchair. I ended up on a couch with my feet raised in incredible pain and red swollen feet. This is the follow-up "care". DO NOT COME HERE!! They were amazing at making contact when it came to payment but if you actually need something-- do not bother I do not recommend this place based off of personal experience.

I trust and respect Dr. Chaim, because of the successful surgery he performed on my foot in 2004. Now I'm back to see him again in 2014 I always want him as my provider for any foot problems I may have. He's wonderful.
