Dr. Solur V Udayashankar, MD

Solur Udayashankar, MD, is an Anesthesiologist in the Department of General Anesthesia at Cleveland Clinic's main campus. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. His interests include anesthesia for lithotripsy, trauma, urologic surgery and liver transplantation. Dr. Udayashankar has published abstracts on the effects of acetylcholinesterase inhibitors on pseudocholinesterase activity in vitro and the relationship between endogenous opiates and postoperative pain control. Prior to coming to the Cleveland Clinic in 1982, he was on Staff in the Department of General Anesthesia at Provident Hospital in Baltimore, Md., and a Staff Anesthesiologist in the Department of General Anesthesia at Greater Laurel-Beltsville Hospital in Laurel, Md.
