Soma Lilly, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in injuries of the hand, wrist, and elbow. She understands that every patient requires different levels of care and provides customized treatment plans for every individual. In addition to traditional medical education and surgery residency, Dr. Lilly completed the Mary S. Stern Fellowship in hand, microvascular, and upper extremity surgery. There she mastered her skills in diagnosis, conservative non-surgical techniques, as well as advanced surgical procedures.
Along with her in-depth training, Dr. Lilly is board certified in hand and upper extremity surgery by successfully completing the rigorous exam for a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. Her special interests include trauma and reconstructive surgery for conditions of the hand, wrist and elbow for pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Lilly enjoys trail running, skiing, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and two children.

During my first appointment I had high hopes, as I’ve heard Dr. Lilly is amazing. When she came into my appointment, she was extremely rude, asked me the same questions, and didn’t listen to my answers. She has no bedside manor what so ever. She made me feel so under valued as a patient.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Lilly. I felt she did a Great job Analyzing my problem, explaining to me what was wrong, and setting my mind at ease with her confidence. Surgery went well and recovery has been as expected. No complications. I would highly recommend Dr.Lilly.

Dr Lilly has always provided me with excellent care and honest direct dialogue regarding my heath care issues.

Absolutely the worst Dr. I have ever encounted. Rude, down taking and does communicate well on a human level. Verbially shuts down patients trying to ask questions to understand their conditions or potential outcomes. Would not recommend this Dr to anyone.

Went through nearly a year of daily pain, after an wrist injury, with no improvement. Was sent to physical therapy, put in a cast, I was talked down to and my pain level was questioned. I was told there was nothing she could do and I would just have to live with the pain . Got a second opinion, new xrays and a had surgery a week later!

I had a Right Carpal Tunnel repair, a bone spur removed from my Arm & Tendons reattached. The post-operation pain has been less than I had expected. For the amount repair Dr. Lilly performed, I'm impressed & thank her for surgical expertise. One surgery done, & second carpal tunnel to go. I'm very satisfied.

I was scheduled to see Dr. Lilly for a 3:40 PM appointment. The receptionist asked me to come in at 3:00. At 4:50 I still had not seen Dr. Lilly, and I had to leave for a 5:00 meeting. The Clinic apparently has no respect for their clients. Fortunately there are other medical practices in Bend who have a better attitude.
