Dr. Somal Satish Shah, MD

Dr. Shah is my physician and I recommend him to my family and friends. He is very professional and his expertise in GI is what it makes so many patients wanting to see him.

I had an appointment for follow up at 3:45 pm, so I walk away at 5 pm not seeing him at all. First i tried to contact their staff to confirm suite building, after 5 minutes on the phone i found the place by my self and the representative in front desk was not picking the phone.. I was sitting waiting for him, not even a apologies being late, nothing.... If he spend more time with other patients which quite positive and claims, but at least to tell the next one that he will be late and not keep them waiting and waiting and or call for re-schedule Its matter of respect within persons... each other have value things to do.

Made Unfortunately I never was even able to see the Doctor who was recommended to me by another physician; I called his office in South Miami Avenue several times and left voice mails but my call was never returned. I finally contacted his staff by pressing the wrong number when I called and was told they are indeed difficult to get a hold off because "too many patients" ... I thanked them for the information and the person in the other line put me back on hold.

I'm very happy with the Physician and all the staff that attended to me during my colonoscopy procedure. They were very professional and courteous. The facility was also very clean and comfortable. Thank you!

I absolutely love this physician! He is one of the few that calls back with results. Any question I have, he answers! The best GI in Miami.

Great physician. Dr. Shah takes his time to record all patient history and has great bed side manners. He calls you with results and is always available for follow up visits. I would definitely recommend any friend and family.

My husband and I saw Dr. Shah for the first time this week and found him extremely professional, compassionate, courteous and very approachable. He has excellent bedside manners and really takes his time documenting and gathering your medical history.
