She was exceptionally compassionate, patient, and undstanding. And her skill matches her superb bedside manner.

First off...I want to say that I accidentally gave Dr. Gunia that 1-star rating, so please ignore that . She definitely gets a 5 star rating from me. She is a very skilled surgeon who cares about her patients and has gone above and beyond to take good care of me and my needs. She is down to earth , very comfortable to talk to and she answered all my questions thoroughly and respectfully. My surgery sight (lumpectomy) and scarring is minimal, and I couldn't be more pleased with her as my choice.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gunia. She is so much fun to be around and makes the word Cancer seem so much less scary. She has led me through all the surgery and I feel I am very lucky to have found such a positive and intelligent doctor.

Dr. Gunia is a very adept and knowledgeable surgeon who takes the time to make a patient feel very well cared for. She is extremely thorough and never made me feel rushed. She answered all of my questions and left me feeling very comfortable in choosing her as my surgeon. Surgery is a frightening process, and Dr. Gunia's demeanor and skill made the process much easier. I am thankful that she is my doctor.

Dr Gunia is a skilled and confident, compassionate surgeon who will give you her best advice and then will encourage you to make your own decisions. At the time of surgery I felt both completely confident and informed. Unbelievable cosmetic result! After the surgery she and her staff were very patient in helping me find the right oncologists for me. I was very fortunate to consult her early, prior to the biopsy and she helped me navigate my way through a very stressful and confusing decision making process. I can't imagine being in better hands
