Dr. Sonal Bharat Parikh, MD

Dr Parikh was in my network and I had her as my doctor for a very short time. She dropped me for unknown reasons. She had developed brain cancer and maybe that's why she had issues and her staff was not easy to work with. I would give 0 stars if i could.

Thanks to help from my family doctor, I was able to become a new patient. She listened carefully & prescribed excellent medication combinations, something I had never been able to achieve with my previous psychiatrist. Recently I had another health issue, which has often caused anxiety & depression. But the meds she prescribed have worked very well through two moves, the death of my sister, & my recent health setback

Had 2 visits and both were very distressing. She clearly does not want new patients with multiple disorders that may take her time. I do not recommend her for psychiatry or Neurology. It is very hard to find the same caliber of Drs we had in the 80's and 90's. God help us all

I had a referral to see Dr. Parikh from my primary care doctor, and a second one from my surgeon. I did not hear from her office, so called to check on it. Was told that the referral was returned to my doctor telling me to go to the Centers. The office gal would not even speak to me. I was told Dr. Parikh had made her decision and nothing I could say would change her mind. She was rude and nasty and would not even let me ask her any questions. She was booked until Nov/Dec, but when I asked if I could schedule something for then, I was told I could never book an appointment with Dr. Parikh. And I do not know why. So off to Ocala I go.
