Dr. Sonali Suresh Gotmare, MD

she has no knowledge of medicines. She will not talk about your problems and scare you by negative feedbacks but not give any solutions. I do not know how she got her degree. She is the worst doctor I have ever meet. worst experience, time waste. Please do not go. Check every doctor ratings before visiting them. I do this after visiting Sonali gotmare. Overall she will not help you with anything.

She takes her time to understand the issues and has saved my life by recommending a test that my regular PCP did not catch. We switched to her practice after that incident when she was covering for our PCP.

A couple weeks after I saw a nurse-practitioner subbing for Dr. Gotmare, my newly diagnosed sciatica was really painful. It had seemed to clear up, then gotten worse with changed symptoms. I called Kaiser at 8:45 am and got a call back from Dr. Gotmare's office at 4 PM. The caller said that Dr. G was referring me for physical therapy. I said I was in a LOT of pain, had additional symptoms, and wanted to talk to the doctor herself. I may have mentioned that I was unable to get much sleep. A full 48 HOURS and 9 minutes later someone from Dr G's office left the following message [I was slow getting to the phone]: "This is Carrie.. from Dr G's office ... She's .. out of the office .. She would like you to make an appt to come in and see her regarding the pain. She does say that if you are having that much pain, you probably won't be able to DO the physical therapy and you should probably discuss with her some pain medication before physical therapy.. " The message went on to instruct me… to call the main Kaiser number to set up an appt. Now I am not sure I have seen Dr. Gotmare in person, so I can understand that she may have needed to see me before prescribing (even though I had visited the nurse-practitioner). And maybe she was ill or her life was in chaos during the 48 hours. But this still does not seem right.
