Dr. Song Eun Eun Lee, MD

Even ONE Star is Way Too Much! There's not a single nice thing that can be said about Dr. Song Eun Lee, as she treated us like garbage during a recent visit, and has zero regard or respect for patients as human beings. It should go without saying that persons afflicted by retinal disease who are losing vision/clarity in one or both eyes need compassionate, customized care, and a doctor who cares about his or her patients. But Dr. Eun Lee wanted virtually nothing to do with me as a patient, and tried delegating most of the bogus exam to unsupervised technicians. When she finally did make her appearance, Eun Lee couldn't have been nastier or more condescending, cutting me off and talking over me when I attempted to tell her about my symptoms and history with the disease! Rushed and in a foul mood, Eun Lee had the gall to say "I don't want to hear you talk," and to tell me to "stop talking," at which I point I had had it and informed her that I was old enough to be her father,… and that she was not allowed to speak to myself or any patient in such a degrading, insulting manner. Never once did she think to ask how I was doing, or how she might be of help. Eun Lee is also careless in what she does, not bothering to tell the patient that she's about to grab their eye, insert more drops, or insert the horrid, portable eye pressure instrument. Stray dogs are treated better at the shelter than Song Eun Lee treats her retina patients, as I experienced first hand! My eyes were in severe discomfort by the time I left from being grazed by the pressure taker and over-dilated, to the extent that it was very difficult to see. Retina patients, particularly senior-aged patients, deserve much better than this nasty treatment and substandard level of care. I wouldn't dare go back to this horrible, uncaring excuse for a doctor!
