Dr. Sonia Daisy Lenzmeier, MD

Dr. Lenzmeier is a rare doctor who takes her time and really listens to patients. She asks many questions and I feel that she is incredibly thorough when interviewing and examining patients. I am also a physician, so I look at doctors from a different point of view. I can say that I really trust and appreciate Dr. Lenzmeier. By the way, she always follows up after my visits to discuss lab results, etc.

Upon entry to the facility, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and design of the office. The front office girls were extremely polite and got me checked in for my appointment. Dr. Lenzmeier saw me right on time and I barely had to wait. She took the time to sit and explain information to me about my medications and my disease. I am so happy I found her! Her office called a few days after my appointment to provide my lab results. Great experience!

Dr. Lenzmeier is the most careful, thorough doctor I have every been to. When I leave (after she spends a great deal of time with me). I feel that she has considered all possibilities and really taken her time to come up with diagnoses and proper treatment. Her depth of knowledge is evident. She does this all in a kind, compassionate and professional manner.

Was standoffish, doesn't listen, stuck up, judge mental individual. Went to a new physical, did blood work and found I was misdiagnosed. Terrible, terrible, terrible. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. Go elsewhere.

Dr. Sonia Lenzmeier has to be one of the worst doctors I've encountered in a long time. I'm a doctor myself in the field of oncology and accompanied a dear friend and her son to an appointment and I was amazed at the lack of outright empathy for his young man's medical issue. She made no eye contract the entire visit, she barely acknowledged his mother adm briefly looked up at me when I asked her a question pertaining to his outlook concerning this condition. Her response " I don't know with something like this it could go anywhere" really Dr. Lenzmeier? Geeeeh glad we came to a professional, took you all 4 years to gather that expert bedside manner? I'm sorry and normally I would never berate a fellow medical professional as we all work very very hard to get where we are but Dr. Lenzmeier you ought to use this as a baseline and correct how you're conducting your patient appointments. However, just for the sake of not causing Dr. Lenzmeier any angst we initially left out that I myself… was a practicing physician in southern California at City of Hope. I was applaud with her outright lack of disposition and overall knowledge on diagnosing general practice situations is lacking to say they least. If medical practices were audited regularly this practice would likely fail due to its lead practiononers inability to A. Have good bedside manner, B. Promptly communicate a diagnose and it's long term prognosis and C. Not come across as though she is too busy to spend the time conversing with you when you're her last appointment for the day and no body is in the waiting room. Dr. Lenzmeier I wish your practice well but those awards touted in your office and on your website are an inaccurate representation of what you'll find at this practice. As for the Mr. Dr. Lenzmeier, well he was no where to be found so no comments regarding his abilities at the moment. But if it's any reflection I can't imagine they could be much betters first impressions guys remember that. Take care.

The most memorable thing Dr. Sonia Lenzmeier left was likely her inability to effectively communicate to the mother of a 10 year old child without throwing around her title and suggesting that i likely wasted her time with my wanting a second opinion from her of the potential ADHD diagnosis of my son. I deferred to her expertise and wasn't one of those over bearing helicopter parents but anytime a parent is faced with the possibility of having to put their child on medications that could potentially effect their lives in the long run I feel any parent has the right to ask questions of their doctor, "Is this the right option for my son". The staff was amazing and very courteous from beginning to end but realize they work for a tyrant that appreciates no one she considered beneath her. Dr. Lenzmeier respect doesn't come on diploma mind you I'm a PH.D in early childhood development and social work I don't parade my schooling around demeaning those around me. Food for thought.

I would never go back to this physician! She has no bedside manner actually behaving rude at times! Doesn't seem to have a grasp on finding the real issue! Went to this doctor for over a year with very little help and many misdiagnosis! Beware!

This doctor is very rude and has 0 bedside manner! After many appointments with her I decided to look elsewhere for a primary doctor! I have never been treated this way by any doctor!

I recently saw Dr. Lenzmeier for a routine physical. I was very impressed with her thoroughness about my history, concerns and response to my questions. I didnâ??t feel that she was rushing through the exam just to get to another patient. She took her time and genuinely cared about providing me the best medical care. She also answered all my questions in a way that I could understand and comprehend. Equally impressive was her staff. They were just as thorough as Dr. Lenzmeier during my visit and for my follow up care. I would highly recommend Dr. Lenzmeier!
