Dr. Sonia Pawluczyk, MD

My family has come to know Dr. Pawluczyk first through my mother's experience with Alzheimer's Disease, and now through my aunt's dementia. She is outstanding on multiple levels. Her knowledge of, and participation in, dementia research provides patients and their families with access to thorough, ongoing evaluation over the course of the illness, and also a level of confidence knowing that if there is something that can be tried to help your loved one, Dr. Pawluczyk will know about it.She is also very patient, caring, and compassionate. No appointment is ever rushed, and the doctor takes whatever time is needed to answer questions and explain options. She is candid about patient needs and status of the illness, but also aware of the impact the illness has on the family. My family and I cannot say enough about the competence, knowledge, and professionalism of Dr. Pawluczyk. She is outstanding.
