Dr. Sonia Arunabh Talwar, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Talwar for many years and had been happy with her expertise. My insurance plan always requested that I get a referral for specialists. I missed my appointment last year due to personal reasons and made an appointment to see her again this month. Being it was 2 years since my last appointment they made me a "new patient". I made the appointment, filled out all the paper work and showed up at the office for my appointment. They informed me the she changed her policy to not accepting new patients that require a referral from their insurance company. I explained I am not a new patient, that I have been coming for years and missed my last appointment. They did not care at all and now I am in search for a new doctor. I am very disappointed that I was dismissed without regard to my health. This is terrible health practice from a doctor who obviously values her money more than her patients.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Talwar. I recently went for a yearly follow up. Dr. Talwar didn't have time to come in the room to see me only the PA. I had a test completed. Called for four days to get a result. No one called me back. So very disappointed.

Dr Talwar is very compassionate and tried to help in multiple ways not only with medications but also with lifestyle modification. Overall, I am feeling much better because of her care. he office staff is very helpful.

Dr Talwar has poor interpersonal skills During my visit she barely listened to what I said and was quick to prescribe unnecessary medication

Not happy with Dr Talwars care. Put me on generic sythroid. After about a month I started to have a bad reaction to drug. Could not get an appointment to see her and she told me to just stop taking it because I didn't really need it anyway. Why was I on it then???? I don't think you are supposed to stop Synthroid abruptly either. Did not go back.

She is not interested in your health and if your numbers don't get better, she throws you out of the practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Talwar's for years and am always impressed by her professionalism, knowledge, kind and caring persona as well as the efficiency of both herself and her entire staff. I could not be more satisfied or feel my well being was in better hands and have highly recommended this office repeatedly.

I missed 2 tsh blood work. That's more than 8 months. Diabetic pTients need magnesium to absorb calcium. She will not tell patients. It's more or less a business. I don't feel cared for.

EXCELLENT DOCTER AND STAFF, I'VE BEEN SCENE BY DR.TALWAR AND EVA. BOTH ARE BEYOND EXCELLENT

Would NOT talk to me about options other than weight loss to deal with my PCOS. Encouraged dieting, MediFast, calorie counting. I dreaded every visit because I knew she would say the same thing - she couldn't help until I lost weight.
