Dr. Sonoma Gupta review: Short Summery:Unprepared, Rude, No plan, Bad Bedside Manners, Puts blame on patient, lack of empathy. Initially I was really looking forward to her medical insight in my evolving endocrine issues. My first appointment felt like a slap in the face or a school kid getting blamed for the Very Slow Medical System. It took me a year to get insurance after losing so much. I tried to explain the complexity of my health issues. 2007 Hyperthyroidism, now Hypothyroidism. I pointed out certain numbers on my blood work when I realized she hadn’t even looked at them. Towards the end she finally took a closer look at the blood work & agreed that I did have some valid concerns but I don’t want a doctor who I have to convince to hear me out and do her research first. She had no answers for my evolving endocrine issues. I had no faith in the way she handled my concerns. So little empathy. & She was not at all prepared with a plan to regulate my thyroid. Making the appointment I… waited so long for. Pointless

I have read enough negative reviews about this dear poor competent and caring woman (Doctor Sonika Gupta) and have come to the conclusion that these adult complainers are big spoiled babies (like most Americans) who are full of s_ _t. Doctor Gupta is very professional, knowledgable and caring, as is her entire staff, along with Doctor Iris Sanchez, NP. If Doctor Gupta tells you something about your health/medical condition that you don’t like, it’s because she’s telling you the truth. Hi everyone I been going there for a few months now for my HRT, Dr Gupta is a very good doctor and answer any questions I may ask her but most important she very professional always keeps a eye on my lab work and also the Staff very good and helpful.

I been to her office twice. Have waited almost 3 hrs to be seen. She spends 10mins with you doesnt explain anything just feels shes in a rush to get to get you out of her office after you been waiting there for 3 hrs. I have called her office 4 times NEVER received a call back until 2 weeks later after i kept leaving messages. I would never go back to her office. The front desk staff are the same way. They dont care for the patients health.

My experience with her has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. She has no regard for your time, and you are lucky if she is ONLY an Hour late for your appointment. Her office called and rescheduled my appointment less than 24 hours in advance. Thankfully I was able to change my schedule to accommodate her. She ended up coming in at my original appointment time.....almost 2 hours late....so there was absolutely no reason to reschedule in the first place. I was so upset. I was never given an apology, nor was the lateness even acknowledged. Even when she finally does appear, don't expect to have her undivided attention, or for her to spend very long with you at all. Her staff will be in and out of the room interrupting you to ask her questions about other patients right in front of you. Worst of all, there is very little continuity of care. I have a thyroid issue, and was trying to talk to her about using the autoimmune protocol to help my symptoms. She… interrupted me, looked me straight in the eyes, and said "cut out burgers and soda if you want to cut out something". Setting aside the pure rudeness, coldness, and offensiveness of that statement, I am a vegan who doesn't consume caffeinated drinks due to a heart issue. It is in my chart, and I have mentioned it several times. She obviously hadn't taken the time to review my chart or get to know me. Please save yourself time and energy. Find a different endocrinologist.

Dr. Gupta is the first Endocrinologist that continues to allocate valuable time to my symptoms, and daily concerns about living with diabetes. Endocrinology is a complicated science; therefore, finding the delicate chemical balance that works for you requires time and patience. Dr. Gupta’s focus is to obtain this balance and provide personalized treatment while taking into consideration medication side effects and prescription costs. She and her staff work diligently on obtaining insurance pre-authorization along with researching patient assist programs to ensure patients can obtain medications at lowest costs. I value Dr. Gupta’s focus minded personality, which may come across as serious to some, however, I know the kind, caring and humorous person that makes her not only a doctor, but human as well. The practice’s patient portal provides an additional avenue of communication to those that may not be able to make calls during working hours.

Poor experience. This doctor doesnt vaule your time or care. Her office is a joke with different staff all the time. She is rude and cold hearted.

Staff in this office is rude and unprofessional. Good luck trying to get a refill.
