She is a real good listener! She listened to all my problems and went over explaining everything without rushing . I highly recommend her.

Some years ago Dr Lecuona was my Dr @ Boe Medical Froup. Dr Lecuona took excellent care of me,and I was so sad for month's after she left and by the way I left Bose Medical grout myself. I know that she had a little girl and informed me she was going to leave Bose. I have never forgotten her gentleness for my no matter what I told her. Great Drs like her are very hard to find. I know that she probably won't remember me, but I'm a female with a boys name (ugh) May she forever be Blessed and her family and I will always think of her warmly. Oh by the way I give her a 5 plus rating.

I have been to consult with Dr Lecuona once so far and it was a positive experience.

I, too, had Dr. Lecuona as my primary care physician, and I am truly broken-hearted at her departure. Learning that she was no longer at the Johns Hopkins Community Medical Center at the Grove came about only when my medications were delayed for multiple wks. and even two months beyond what they should have been. It was only through the intercession of my pharmacist that I learned that all my medications had the status of unfillable b/c there was no physician overseeing my particular medical case. Shamefully, as a patient (of several yrs.),I had not been notified by the clinic that my primary doctor had left the practice. Apparently, some of Dr. Lecuona’s patients rec’d a letter, but there was a group of us who did not, and as a consequence we were left in the lurch. In my case, the lack of one of my standard drugs caused bodily harm (which I only made sense of belatedly): weeks of suffering and enduring terrible drug withdrawal. The administrative failures and adverse medical… outcomes attributable to the clinic were salt in what was the deep wound I was now forced to face: the loss of my most special physician, she who has stood out as the finest many dozens of other doctors, general and specialist. No matter how discouraging, complicated, or painful my several chronic conditions became, I had known I would be listened to, feel heartened, and provided with medical options when I saw Dr. Sonya. I never left an appointment w/o feeling much better for having spoken and been with her. It was much like the feeling you have when you have spent time with a very good or best friend. And, ultimately, that is how I thought of and will always remember Dr. Sonya: as a kind, understanding friend greeting me happily in a clinic room with the warmest of smiles and remembering her as a genuinely compassionate, ever giving soul who, most fortunate for me, knew through her medical expertise and long, varied experience, was a caregiver in every sense of the word. It pains beyond words that this exceptionally compassionate caregiver and exemplary primary physician is no longer in my life. Fortunate are those who do. I wish Dr. Sonya every happiness. I want, too, to say thank you for all. You will be missed, in your humility, far more than you might imagine.

Dr. Sonya Lecuona was the primary care provider for My wife and I . Unfortunately she left the Johns Hopkins clinic where she used to treat us and we have no idea where she moved to . We both loved her , she exceeded all our expectations . We never met any doctor who cared so much about her patients like she did

Good doctor. Understanding patients needs.

She's very caring and in my experience she makes you feel like you're her only patient. I never feel rushed. She's also very thorough in her exams. I hate that she's being transferred to another office.

Dr. Lecuna is part of the same practice as my primary care physician. I became sick last week, and prior experience tells me that waiting to see how things go is usually a bad idea. I'm typically reluctant to see a doctor who doesn't know me or my history, but in this case I confirmed my typical doctor was in the office, she just had no appointments. This doctor didn't want to give me antibiotics until she spoke to a specialist that I see. That was Monday. You can't call directly, so 4 days & no fewer than 7 messages later, I still have no antibiotics. I feel rotten, & brought a ton of work home that didn't get done at work because I felt so bad. A different specialist I see is trying to reach somebody for me now.

Dr. Lecuona is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
