Dr. Soodabeh Abravesh

This dr was ok in the beginning but after 6 months my daughter is now looking for another ob. Extremely rude! Would not recommend her to anyone. She is obviously burnt out and needs to retire.

She is the best dr I ever see follow up on time call back when I have emergency

Worst OB ever! Such in a rush and billed me numerous times for appointments I never had scheduled. She was very rude and short. Spent 45+minutes in the office waiting and 5 minutes with her for a visit. Not worth your time.

Worst OB/GYN I've ever met. I went to Dr. Abravesh when I realized I was going to be a high-risk pregnancy, but I was wrong. She is the worst physician I've ever had to deal with. She seemed nice in-person on my first day meeting her, friendly and well-spoken, but the longer waiting times with the five-minute visits were starting to get on my nerves. When it came to have my baby, I called at five in the morning, but she didn't seem bothered to worry asking if 'I was sure' as if I didn't know! Ten hours later, I've already been feeling the urge to push for fifteen minutes, but she's apparently running late?! I was her only patient booked as the first birth and yet she wasn't there waiting as I needed her. Pushing, obviously it hurt, so I yelled out ONCE and she told me to be quiet??? Um, excuse you? I'm having a baby pushed out of me with an epidural that didn't even work (the anesthesiologist was sick and sniffing his nose like ew?????) and you're telling me to be quiet?!… Then, because she was soooo busy with other things, she made me push him out in ONE. PUSH. One push! I suffered a second LABIA MINORA tear (which is your second set of 'lips' around your urethra) and had to get stitches because it split apart. If she hadn't made me push him out in one push, I would have never had to tear myself like that. I have had a baby before, so I knew what was going on. Also, I didn't know the results of my pap test until I was literally in the delivery room because she didn't bother giving the notes to the hospital. If they hadn't looked at the fax machine for my special necessity, my little boy could have developed serious drawbacks (meningitis and the like) because of her ignorance and stupidity. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!!!! Don't go here because she DOESN'T care about her patients. Those little pictures of her with all those babies on that mural may look cute, but it is a MURAL OF LIES. She is just a money-grubbing punk that doesn't care about your condition, your safety, or your child's safety.

Run very fast away from this doctor. On the day of surgery she and her office staff had forgotten to notify me earlier that they needed a pap history from previous doctor in order to have surgery. I had been fasting and was stressed the day of surgery but I got them the info. I was admitted to Mission Hospital for a hysterectomy at 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon before Christmas. I was nervous and my husband and family were all praying for me and prepared to care for me the next weeks... I get a phone call from the doctor as I'm entering pre-operation saying that the pap was not up to date and she questioned me on why I didn't have the right info - I told her I did what I could with the time that I had and I thought I had a recent pap. Then I realized she was blaming me for this mistake and I asked what we will do now. She said "I'm not doing surgery today...I won't take this liability...I'm cancelling the surgery and closing your case." Just cut me off completely. I dropped to… the floor in shock and cried - I couldn't believe she continued to say "well, I only met you 18 days ago.." as if that somehow made this all ok. She was offended by my being upset and couldn't understand why I would be this way even though I explained that I've been starving all day and prepared myself mentally, emotionally and physically for this procedure for 2 weeks. She was rude and I eventually hung up on her then I had to go back to admitting and get my money back. I wouldn't be able to get money back from the appointments I had to do to get all the x-rays, blood tests, etc. prior to the surgery. Now I sit wondering what in the world happened and why I was scheduled for this in the first place if "18 days ago" was too soon for her. This doctor is seriously unprofessional and prideful and has a very poor staff - that is a dangerous combination for anyone putting their lives or bodies in her hands.

Always makes you feel like your questions are sill or unimportant. Spends little time seems to alway be in a rush. Try to communicate any issues with her & basically says she does not need this information, Just extremely rude and uncaring. Always cancels & makes you reschedule appointments. I can not imagine having a baby with this doctor in your most emotional moments! UGHHH

Office staff is absolutely amazing and gets to know you personally and they and the doctor actually remember you! I ran into dr abravesh 18 months after she delivered my daughter and not only did she recognize me, but she remembered my name and how old my daughter was. AMAZING! My only complaint was that she a little too induction happy. She began discussing induction at like 38 or 39 weeks and when I went over my due date she got all ancy. I felt like my baby and I were in good hands though with her. She really knows her stuff

She is a very good Dr. I have had no problems with her. Very nice and makes you feel very comfortable. Can't wait to become pregnant again and have her be there she is the best!!!
