Excellent care

She has taken care of my adult child for the past 2 years and is very caring and knowledgeable. I finally feel like I have my daughter back. Dr. Kogan also explains things to us in a way we can understand which not every doctor has done in the past.

I have been working with her for a long time and she is caring and thorough.

I've been seeing her for 2 years and find that she goes out of her way to explain things in a way I can understand. When I had concerns about my treatment she really listened and changed course.

Go to any other “doctor” but this one. I mean it, run! Psychiatrists, people who are charged with taking care of our mental health, should have a higher level of patience and compassion both in practice and as a human being who has chosen to be in the profession of helping those often at their lowest point. Anything short of this would not only cast doubt on their commitment and competency as a doctor, it would speak to what kind of human being they are. Any doctor who would HANG UP, that’s right, HANG UP on someone not even because they were being difficult or even rude, but simply because the doctor didn’t want to deal with them, should be avoided at all costs! How can we entrust someone like this? Well folks, that is Dr. Sophia Kogan Psychiatrist, MD. A doctor who hangs up when she doesn’t want to deal with…whatever it was she didn’t want to deal with. I don’t even know! She just…hung up. This is why I say RUN. There are plenty of psychiatrists out there, why choose one who for… $300-$600 per hour may very well hang up on you if she isn’t, I don’t even know…not in the mood? If that isn’t a sign of things to come (and thus own questionable mental health), then I don’t know what is. I highly suggestion you go elsewhere.
