Sophia Thorman, MMSc, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in comprehensive medical dermatology for patients of all ages. She is dedicated to helping individuals achieve and maintain healthy skin through compassionate, personalized care and evidence-based treatment. Sophia values building long-term relationships with her patients and believes that patient education is a key part of delivering effective dermatologic care.

Dermatology Services

She evaluates and treats a broad range of common skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, warts, fungal infections, and skin cancer. Sophia also performs thorough skin cancer screenings and works closely with patients to diagnose and manage both acute and chronic skin concerns. Her approach is centered on making patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care plan.

Education and Training

Sophia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Health Science from …Mercyhurst University and her Master of Medical Science degree from Baldwin Wallace University. Her interest in dermatology began during her clinical training and has continued to deepen through advanced education and hands-on clinical experience.
