Dr. Sophie Thibault, MD

Sophie Thibault, MD, is a pediatrician who joined AdventHealth Medical Group from the esteemed pediatric residency program at AdventHealth for Children (then known as Florida Hospital for Children) in Orlando. An honors graduate of the University of Central Florida, Dr. Thibault earned her master’s degree in biomedical science at the University of South Florida before returning to UCF for medical school. While earning her medical degree, she co-founded and coordinated a pre-clinical elective course in geriatric medicine with a focus on improving students’ empathy toward the aging process and communication skills with older patients. During her residency, she conducted research on ways to improve reporting of newborn health screens and on health disparities contributing to readmissions for childhood asthma.
