If I could give her zero stars I would... she claimed my 'SIBO' disappeared, after having food poising. Then forced me to have an endoscopy saying it was necessary. But it had to be done in her side surgery office... where she charged $500 because my insurance didn't cover it. I asked to wait till cedars was available, her staff laughed at me. This woman is money hungry... that is all. she wants to make her money and move on to the next patient. Now that I'm unemployed, she sends me a bill and will not negotiate stating 'my insurance has not paid her out'. Mean while my Explanation of Benefits show she has made over $100 for phone appointments that she claimed as OFFICE VISITS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONEY HUNGRY OFFICE. UNKNOWLEDGEABLE, SYMPTOM DISMISSING, MONEY HUNGRY DOCTOR.

The most thorough physician I’ve ever encountered. Takes all complaints seriously. Has great follow through.

Dr. Soraya Anne Ross is the finest physician ever,. caring, thorough, generous with her time, returns calls immediately, knows her medicines. I was blessed with this doctor some 16 years ago.

I saw her for a few years, & liked her at first, even though my husband & I were both kept waiting. I felt like she discounted my problems, maybe because she said I was ":cute" (at 55-60 yrs.old.) Had 2 colonoscopies, didn't find out till I saw my med. records years later that I had a redundant colon that she never told me about, requiring X-rays because the colonoscopy could not be completed, so bad diagnosis. I'm lucky I didn't have cancer -no thanks to her. I thought of reporting her, should have!

She is a very smart woman, but very distracted with phone calls, people in other rooms, her unsmiling staffer at the front desk, and so on. I once waited in the examining room for 40 minutes and she apologized for forgetting I was there. I had a hard to diagnose digestive problem. She was not inclined to dig into the diagnosis much. Proposed various drugs. I think she is a talented doctor who is too-too busy -- go to her if you have something routine, not if you have something difficult.

Wonderful, caring doctor. I heard she is who other doctors go to when needing a colonoscopy, so that's why I chose her. She takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns.

I was a patient of Dr. Ross' for many years (I moved to San Francisco so I am longer a patient, otherwise I would be).Although I did have to wait at my appointments with her, I felt it was worth it since she is an outstanding gastrointestinal doctor. She did two colonoscopy's on me and it was completely painless with no problems whatsoever. The first colonoscopy she identified three polyps which were tested and came back that I have the gene for adenoma colon cancer - that was ten years ago. I have heard of others whose doctors missed polyps and got sick later. My uncle had a colonoscopy done and after he bled so much that he had to be taken to the emergency hospital. One has to be careful when choosing a gastrointestinal doctor.I really felt I my health was in excellent hands with her. She is highly intelligent, caring, and has an excellent reputation as a physician. I don't think you could find a better gastrointestinal doctor.BTW, I am not affiliated with Dr. Ross in any way.… Merely, a very happy patient.

I had to wait over an hour and twenty minutes to be seen by Dr. Ross, which in itself is not unusual - I have had experiences of that in the past at other clinics. But the over-riding impression she gave was one of going through the motions and moving on to the next patient as quickly as possible. Not feeling able to talk through all the possible options regarding my condition in a measured and considered way with her added hugely to the stress I was experiencing. I understand she is overwhelmed with patients, but she needs to understand it's not just information we need, but time and care and space to process it. If you like your doctors blunt and bored then she's the one for you.

She gives you the time and concern you hope for in a doctor. The atmosphere is pleasant and her manner is reassuring.She seems to remember you and your problems even though there may be an interval between visits.
