Dr. Souheil Moussly, MD

Called 7Nov2019 at 9:00 am because of colitis. Having diarrhea through previous night and passing of blood/mucus in stool, abdominal cramping and a little nausea. I was told 3 times a call would be returned to me. Never received a call back. Called 11Nov2019 at 10:25am - Yes 3 days later - I was told the DOCTOR just saw the "GREEN" slip in this morning. (Green slip = A note describing why I called and the health issue). The PORT ORANGE INTERISTS doctors office is NOT OWNED by Dr. Moussly any more. This business was sold over 1-1/2 years ago and since selling the service has been poor. Patients records having errors, medical information missing after moving to a new record system. Their service now is like going into a 3rd world country for medical care. RATING POOR and is not DESERVED -- SHOULD BE LOWER

Doc has been my physician for 25 years. He has cared for my entire family over that time, from young children to octogenarians. He has been unfailingly kind, caring, and considerate. He takes the time to explain what the patient needs to know, and if he doesn't have an immediate answer, he digs in and searches until he does. He is a superb diagnostician who took on my father-in-law as a patient after other doctors told Dad that he was going to die within a few months but couldn't say what he had. Dr. Moussly hammered at it for weeks, kept Dad alive when he should have been dead and finally figured out that the others had misdiagnosed him. George lived a good life for 7 more years thanks to Dr Moussly.

reception staff is rude, arguementive. If you don't agree with the receptionist she hangs up on you- a real know it all with a big mouth. Doctor does not respond promptly- left without medication for a week. Have to make an appointment to refill non narcotic prescriptions so they can collect $$ co pays. tests ordered you don't need and follow up appointments so they can collect $$ co pays. Take the day off - wait times are longggggggggg... even when there isn't anybody else in the waiting room.

Follow up is prime with this provider. He and his staff make sure that test results are provided as soon as received. I would certainly recommend this doctor.

He is the meanest doctor I've ever met. Never talk to us, me and my husband, waiting period is always more that 30 minutes. Stuff is horrible. He never let us talk or ask questions. Prescribe drugs without checking their side effects. I had emergency and we called the stuff to set appointment that day with the doctor. They did not want to talk to us, said that doctor was booked. We came to the office, they did not let us see the doctor. Thanks Lord, we went to the urgent care that they helped me right away.

Dr. MOUSSLY himself is a great doctor. His office manager and staff need to be replaced they are ruining his practice.

Dr Moussly is a no nonsense doctor. He gets to the point of your medical conditions and tells you how it is. He is a great internist and does not use specialist unless completely necessary. I'm very happy with dr. Moussly as my doctor and would recommend him to family and friends. His office staff could use some customer service training a smile goes along way!

This doctor was so mean. At the first visit he didn't take any time to get to know my health history or even bother to talk to me. He walked in the door, took one look at me and started yelling at me about my weight. He said I need gastric by-pass TOMORROW or go on diet pills. Every time I opened my mouth to speak, he told me he didn't want to hear any of my excuses. He was extremely arrogant and I felt like he was looking down on me. I don't need that. Life's too short to have to deal with a mean doctor.

Dr. moussly is a great doctor. He does not order tons of unnecessary tests and he takes the time to explain things . His office staff is the problem. In my opinion he should fire them all. They are very rude and abrupt on the phone and in person. They treat you like a drug addict if you call for a prescription refill. They are the most unsmiling unfriendly bunch of people iI have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I am looking for a new doctor because I can't stand this staff even though the doctor himself is very good.
