Soumo De, M.D., is an assistant professor of diagnostic radiology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte. With expertise in a wide range of innovative imaging techniques and procedures, Dr. De is committed to ensuring that every patient’s diagnosis is as complete and accurate as possible, helping their multidisciplinary care team craft a personalized treatment plan.Dr. De’s choice to pursue a career in medicine stems from his lifelong interests in both anatomy and technology. His specialization in diagnostic radiology allows him to have a direct, positive impact on his patients’ care, while his philosophy in working with patients is founded on open communication and empathy.Dr. De attended medical school at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where he also completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging. He then pursued an additional fellowship in body imaging and intervention at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
