Dr. Soundar Rajan, MD

The good: The majority of the staff is nice. I think all but 1 was nice.The bad: It took over 2 hours just to get back to an exam room, and then 45 minutes just for him to come in and talk to me for 5 minutes and send me on my way. On top of that, I was supposed to have a test done at a Sentara hospital. It took Dr. Rajan 2 months to schedule it, and when he finally got it scheduled, it was at a hospital network that isn't covered by my insurance. I have called the office many times. Every time I have had to leave a message at the nurses station, and most of the time I wasn't even connected to Dr. Rajan's nurse as I requested, I had to leave a message with another Dr's nurse and ask them to pass my message along. Months later, I still have not gotten the results from my test and still have not heard from Dr. Rajan or his nurse to schedule a follow up appointment with a specialist (apparently only the Dr's office can make this appointment for me). My condition continues to worsen and is… now affecting my every day life, and Dr. Rajan hasn't done a thing for me.I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to see Dr. Rajan. I have had a horrible experience and will never go back. Luckily, I'll be moving soon and I will be able to find a COMPETENT doctor.
