Cause zero stars isn’t an option. SKIN THIN AS ONION PAPER What an Ego this guy has! Second visit to the ED for my daughter and same tests, same result. Everything is fine despite the protruding swelling and writhing in pain. At our sign of frustration, he simply walks out of the room. When I pull him aside later to clarify we are frustrated with the findings, he said “when she yelled at me and said we did nothing, I just wanted to back away” Not reassuring, not compassion for frustration and pain. Even when I said thanks for coming back to talk with me, no you’re welcome, thanks or even an up yours. Just walked away.

If I could give zero stars I would. This doctor is the biggest jerk with the most fragile ego. I went to the ER for the second time this month, only for the same exact test to be run (CT Scan) and when nothing showed up I asked if they would do any other testing or imaging because the problem is still there and the scan didn’t show anything either time I was at the hospital. He walked out in the middle of me talking to him. Luckily, my dad was there and went out to talk to him where I overheard the Dr say that I was yelling at him, and he did all he could for me. A CT. Yeah wow he really tried everything, huh? Honestly this guy sucks. From other reviews here, sounds like he needs to be fired for good. Rude, dismissive, disrespectful, fragile, and a big man baby. Ew.

Rudest doctor ive seen. Never greeted himself or dismissed himself to us. Seemed mad the entire time. I dont know if his racist or just plain rude. But something has to be done. He shouldn't be in this field of work.

As expected, he presented baseline level of toxic accusations . Oh, by the way, you’re not a very good doctor. I had a broken sacrum on both sides s3. As far as toxic top them.

Listened to him belittle his patient and mock and laugh behind her back with his nurse jillian in the 13th in the ER. looked him up he has the worst star rating at the hospital and currently has a medical malpractice suite against him. why is he still in care of others?

This Dr doesn't deserve a rating. Last year my son in law was sent by ambulance from Grandview Clinic. Dr Ferrin diagnosed him with a partially collapsed lung and pneumonia on Friday. He passed away Sunday morning. He was only 41.

My 60 yo mother went into the emergency room at McKaydee Hospital for help with ongoing concussion symptoms following hitting her head and pain in her thumb. After they did a CT scan and X-ray they discovered her thumb was dislocated. Shortly after Dr. Ferrin came into her room. When Dr.Ferrin came in he did not communicate with her that he was going to touch/grab her thumb. When he did this my mother flinched in pain and surprise as she was not aware what Dr.Ferrin was doing until he did it. As he did not communicate his plans with her. His response to my mothers flinching was to forcefully push her head back away from him. His reasoning for this was he thought she was going to bite him. Which my mother was in fact not going to do that. Any humans natural reaction to something that is unknowingly going to happen is to be surprised. Especially someone unknowingly touching you in an area that is painful to touch. Which is why her response to his stimuli was to flinch. I am not… certain why a hefty tall man would be afraid of a 60 yo 5ft woman laying down in a hospital bed . That he is standing over and feel the need to forcefully push her head away. Not even taking into consideration the fact that she came in the ER for ongoing concussion symptoms. Out of all things he could have stepped away from her but to put your hand on her is beyond words. My mother left McKaydee Hospital with only a resolution for her dislocated thumb. There was no other resolution given to her concussion symptoms other than medication which is a temporary fix. I only pray we can find help with this. Because McKaydee did not find anything wrong with her in regard to the concussion and did nothing further when she reiterated her concern for her head. Dr.Ferrin only made matters worse and did not even apologize when we spoke to the nurses about what happen. Not only did Dr.Ferrin hurt my mother physically he caused her emotional distress. If you can’t trust the men and women on the frontline to do their jobs with integrity , compassion and respect.. Then who can you trust?

I have to warn anyone (females especially) of the behavior displayed by McKay Dee ER Physician Spencer Ferrin. This “doctor” was the most male chauvinist, mean, cruel excuse for a doctor. This man went above & beyond the call of duty to treat my daughter in the most foul,vile way possible, even going as far as to diagnosis her falsely, without testing. Since this visit, we were able to find extraordinary care at Layton Family Medicine with Jody Fowers. Jody Fowers ordered all the tests that Dr Ferrin refused to order, stating “there is no test for that”. With the exemplary care of Jody Fowers, we were able to get a correct diagnosis that completely debunks Dr Ferrin’s GUESS!!! Now, mistakes can happen, I understand this, however, the McKay Dee office of Patient Advocacy has decided there is nothing they can do about this and kindly asked me to leave them alone. I am angry & sad that this doctors careless and intentional mistreatment of my daughter, will affect her forever. I only hope… to help any other women from having this same experience. If you go to the ER at McKay Dee, please be sure to ask for ANYONE BUT SPENCER FERRIN.

this doctor was the most ruid and inprefessional of any doctor I have ever had. I don't know if it was because of female or because of race.

Dr Ferrin is a joke. Walked in the room and I had some questions for him due to my results being negative. Dismissed all of them except for when I brought up anxiety. “Yes, this is CLASSIC anxiety discorded.” He said. My mom, a nurse, was on the phone to help me ask some questions. He said, “I’m not going to talk to your mom.” And walked out. I heard him after he left say to the ER nurses, “I told him I wasn’t going to talk to his mommy.” And I heard them all laugh. Never say him again. Heart rate went from 80 to 160. Tried to call a nurse in to help me calm down twice... no one ever came until the nurse brought my diagnosis papers... #1 Anxiety Disorder. Dr Ferrin should be fired looking at all these other reviews. Why get into medicine if you act like this? If some DOES have anxiety, that’s the worst way to respond. Come to find out two weeks later an MRI of my cervical spine reviewed the actual issue. So not anxiety.
