Dr. Spencer Erwin Sherman, MD

Medicine has modernized and this office is simply stuck in the past. This level of inconvenience is sometimes tolerable if the doctor is a star, but Dr. Sherman does not warrant patients putting up with this level of incompetence.

I was seen promptly and Dr. Sherman was very professional. I like office staff and would be happy to go back there again.

Went to Dr. Spencer when my original Dr. retired. I have a sight defect from birth. He is 10 star.

Dr. Sherman is the kind of doctor more interested in making extra bucks than the well-being of his patients. I went into his office for a very minor eye infection. He insisted I come back for a second visit, even though my eye ended up healing the next day after my first visit. He bullied me into coming in again by saying I'd end up at the hospital if I didn't see him again.During the second visit, even though he admitted my eye had completely healed, he insisted on running another $500 worth of tests. He never okay-ed these tests with me but instead handed me off to a bunch of nurses that ran very basic eye exams that a school nurse could have done. I've never before had a doctor who I felt bullied me into more visits and procedures so he could make some more money. I really think there are other honest doctors in the city that you should see instead.
