Our insurance changed, so we found Spencer Walker. For 9 years, our family had a very caring doctor, that saw the entire family as primary importance. He listened and asked crucial questions, then gave us options.On our first visit for one of our children, my husband and I were shocked at how much time Mr. Walker spent talking about other patients. He mentioned at least 4 different patients. He told us the history of these patients and how he treated them. I was truly surprised that he didn't slip and give us their names. He also told us about his own life and that his "medical" issues and how in medical school he wasn't allowed to mention them. Needless to say, it allowed very little time to explain and for him to listen to his patient and ask deep meaningful questions. His advice, included completely under minding us as parents. We trusted him as a doctor, but to us, he seemed as just anyone one off the street that didn't know what he was talking about when it came to the… diagnosis he was dealing with when it came to our family member. He simply dismissed any symptoms we asked about and acted like nothing we mentioned meant much. Since that visit, our family member's health and symptoms have decreased and we are looking for a new doctor.

I transferred to Dr Walker from another Dr in the clinic, believing that he was the better option! I actually transferred my whole family, which was a poor decision ! I had been diagnosed with a mental illness several years ago which has been under control for years, because of this I don't feel that Dr Walker ever took me serious! When I would show up in his office he would enter the room and say"now what" I actually saw him quite often because I felt I had so many medical problems, which he quickly dismissed. I was hospitalized on several occasions and he never bothered to pull my records or check on me in the hospital. I finally decided enough is enough so I changed doctors. The doctor I see now immediately ran several tests on me and found a number of illnesses. I am undergoing treatment and seeing several specialist! On top of all the non sense he put me through and several hundreds of dollars in co pays I put out the results were always the same!!! Horrible bed side manner!!!!

Dr. Walker has a great personality. Some times there is a bit of a wait to see him. Forget about asking questions outside of his office. His nures hardly gets back with you. Don't let your medication scrips laps. You can't get them done over the pphone appointment only fokes.
