Dr. Spiro Adel Khoury, MD

Dr Spiro Khoury is a great Doctor. He listens to the patient. He explains in detail his prognosis. I wish I would have known him 6years ago.

I have to say the first few visits were good. The last 3 made me decide that he was to narcissistic and might hurt me. My back surgeon would send the script of what shots he wanted me to receive. When I get there to Dr Khoury, he thinks I need a different type. I had to stress each time that I wanted what my spine surgeon said and Dr Khoury would argue with me that he thought with my symptoms that he should do a different kind. After the third or fourth time of him wanting to change the type of shot I got scared because I am sedated and who’s to say what he really does. The last epidural made me decide I need to change pain doctors. When I insisted heavily that I wanted him to follow the script, he got angry and said ok but then turned to his nurse and said I would be calling in two weeks hurting because I didn’t do it his way. I seen her roll her eyes at the other nurse as Khoury walked out and that spoke a million words to me. It’s been 3 months and I am doing good. Again,… he seems good because a lot of people use him, but if he is not wanting to follow the spine doctors script then he is wrong.

My wife and I have been going to the Waxahachie location since it opened. We have never had anything but great service. Vickie at reception is always helpful and gracious. Dipti and Dr Khoury couldn't be more helpful and informative. Dr Khoury does something rare for doctors - he explains what he is doing and what to expect with each part of the procedure just before he does it. Neither my wife nor I have had any negative experiences with any of the staff and we have been there many My wife and I have been going to the Waxahachie location since it opened. We have never had anything but great service.
