Dr. Spiro John Pantzoulas

I had an extremely negative experience with Dr. Pantzoulas at Sage Dental in Waterford Lakes. He came into my extraction consultation with incorrect referral information and was prepared to extract the wrong number teeth, which I had to correct. When I asked about the bone grafting he was recommending, he brushed it off as the “latest trend” instead of explaining any medical necessity. Only later did I learn from an independent surgeon that bone grafting is only necessary for implants and dentures. Bone grafting was, of course, not covered by insurance, so this appeared to be an unnecessary upsell rather than a medically justified recommendation. Dr. Pantzoulas also failed to discuss the significant sinus risks and precautions with upper wisdom tooth extraction. Patients deserve accurate information and transparency about their options, not vague answers and upselling. My experience left me feeling misled, pressured, and UNSAFE under his care.
