Was timely and personable

I went into the ER with SVT that had been ongoing for over 11 hours. He quickly diagnosed me and explained the procedure. I was admitted that night and had the ablation the following Monday morning. It was a complete success and a huge relief for me. I had been dealing with SVT for many years and it had progressively gotten worse. I had the procedure about 5 years ago and am happy to report that I have had no further trouble with it. He was very kind and answered all of my questions. I would recommend him highly. He does have an accent, but I had very little trouble understanding him. In the past year I have been undergoing a clinical trial chemotherapy for breast cancer, and part of the trial requires regular echo cardiograms. All of them have come back looking great.

He was very knowledgeable about the heart and was able to answer most of my questions. However, I had an unsuccessful ablation... I saw him for about 1 minute before the procedure and he explained the outcome of the procedure to me when I was still half asleep so I didnt understand it... i had to track him down just to get an update, and he never called after to see how I was doing, never came to check on me when I was still in the hospital....

Difficult to understand his English. Phone calls rushed as scheduled between his appointments with patients in the office. Left off without clarity of reason for or necessity of timeliness in acting upon his recommendations. Long wait for surgical intervention recommended, despite ongoing pain and elevated voltage numbers supposedly of concern considering the combination of pain and the elevated number of volts "necessary to keep pacemaker working."
