Dr. Spyros Ge Mezitis, MD

At my first visit with Dr. Mezitis, he spent one hour with me to teach me about my diabetes and set a plan with me going forward which is rare for a doctor’s visit. He continues to spend all the time I need at my follow up visits, to make sure I know how to manage my sugar level and eat right. I felt compelled to write this because he is really caring and professional and I highly recommend him to everyone.

I am one of his first patients when he opened his medical office. I just saw him for a follow up appointment today. Dr. Mezitis is a true gentleman and my favorite doctor. He is unrushed and always spends lots of time with me to explain a health care plan going forward for my general health as well as my hypothyroidism. I trust him fully.

Accepts Medicare yet spends lots of time with me each time I see him, unlike other doctors who see me for five minutes. He also takes my after-hour phone calls if my blood sugar for my diabetes is off. This way I always feel secure that I will be okay. I highly recommend him.

My internal medicine doctor referred me to Dr. Mezitis and told me he is the best in his field. I switched from another two endocrinologists because they were too hurried and indifferent. Dr. Mezitis always spends as much time as I need to teach me how to keep my diabetes controlled and he is a great teacher for diabetes patients like me. He’s also a Ph.D. and his expertise and care is excellent. Won’t change him.

I am a senior-senior who once expected and got home calls and I know about the importance of sometimes spending time to get the right diagnosis. Dr. Mezitas is unstinting of his time which occasionally makes the next appointment wait a few minutes, but it is well worth it. My wife and I believe that Dr. Mezitas, along with a few other neighborhood specialists, intend to keep us coming until we are at least a hundred years old. It is getting closer and because of his ministrations we both can enjoy our eighties. I'll have to let you know about the nineties pretty soon.
