Dr. Sreenivas Katragadda

Very responsive and prompt with any requests unlike many of my previous experiences with psychiatrists..

Should be zero stars. He claimed he was “triggered” by the word “lawyer” when we said we would do all we could to get our child the appropriate special education at school, even if we needed to get a “lawyer.” Then, retracted his promise to write a letter for our child stating that he had an emotional disturbance UNLESS we put in writing that we personally pay his hourly charged fees for any work days missed if either the school or we subpoenaed him as a witness at any point in the future (even in the coming years) to support our child. He had been our family psychiatrist for 4+ years (since our older child was 6). This younger child has since been diagnosed with Disassociative Identity Disorder and placed in residential care, with much credit to his next psychiatric provider’s support. Dr. K. also failed to recognize our older child’s autism after 4 years of treatment. He told us he is a “for profit” psychiatrist and “only gives out meds.” He is NOT there for helping parents actually… discover causes or solutions to their children’s needs. Highly, HIGHLY, do not recommend.

Dr. Katragadda has helped my entire family. He has a great demeanor and knows his specialty well. He is a great listener and works with you to find good solutions.

I never have to wait when we arrive. He is very calm and a great listener. He is honest and tells you when he isn't sure that the meds will work; doesn't act like he is above you and has all the answers. 3 people in my family see him. This is our 3rd psychiatrist.

I initially saw Dr. K when I felt that my normal opioid use for pain was potentially transitioning towards an addition. The first day I spoke to him on the phone (before any appointment), he told me that he could squeeze me in that same day because it was optimal given the time of my previous opioid dose. This was the first example of him going out of his way to help me as a patient, something that regularly occurred. During all of my appointments with Dr. K, he was extremely nice and completely nonjudgmental (something I was concerned about given the nature of the appointment). He always seemed interested in me as a person as well as a patient. I truly believe that he is a very good guy, on top of being a good doctor. When a problem arose (an acute pain incident requiring full strength opioids), he handled it pragmatically by making a plan with me, and then stayed in touch throughout to assure the plan was successful start to finish, which was not true AT ALL for the other… doctors involved (pain management and PCP). I would highly recommend Dr. K to any patient, particularly if they are in a situation similar to mine.

Dr K's an amazing Dr! I was so happy when I left my first appointment wih him.Straight to the point,honest,give his thoughts on the issue and then together decide on our next step.The office is clean,great staff,prompt and just all around a great experience.I actually enjoy going to my appts.If you want to pick a doctor that will be the first n last Dr. You will need than make the best choice for you and your treatment...Dr. Katragadda..FIVE STARS *****

Since my return to New Hampshire I tried to locate a good psychiatrist. Dr. Katragadda is the second one I have gone too and he is the best I have had in my years of having this type of provider. I like the fact that he spends enough time with me and that I can have open and honest two way conversations about my meds and how they make me feel. I like the fact that he is laid back and lets me actually be open before he tries to address my concern. A lot of providers treat you bad just because you have mental health issues but, Dr K. and his staff treat you with dignity and respect. They always make you feel warm and welcome. Also if you look his wait time average is 15 mins. but he does not rush you out the door

I have had a constant need to clear my throat for over 25 years. I had been diagnosed as Allergys and treated with no real result for 25 years. I am a salesman and it got to be very distracting for me and my customers. I decided to try to fix this once and for all. The first thing I had to do was determine it wasnt physical. I had an endoscopy that showed no blockage. I went to Dr Katragadda and he diagnosed it as a tic. Treated it with a very low dose of Clonidine and my symptoms are absolutely gone with no side effects! I'm truly thrilled. I would recomend this Dr to anyone. He really changed my life!

Dr Katragadda's intelligence and experience combined with his patient and warm nature gives me confidence in him. I feel he is concerned for my wellbeing. He has always followed up with personal phone calls when I have questions and will help me sort out information when I question medical opinion and advice.
