Dr. Sreeram Maddipatla, MD

Seemed confused about what had and had not occurred, treatment wise.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Maddi for about two years, and I can’t say enough good about him. He is so kind and committed to my husband’s treatment. Extremely knowledgeable of his rare type of cancer, and has chosen a treatment, of monthly injections that have vastly improved his quality of life, and mine. Dr. Maddi ROCKS!!

Cold, removed, rushed through appointments, did not take time to listen. After last infusion when I was in considerable pain his words were - I did my part.

This Dr. has absolutely no people skills. He may be smart but he is dealing with people who are putting their lives in his hands and he should have a little compassion when he is giving them information about chemo. Most people are so overwhelmed already and then to be treated like a number and even a nuisance is not only insulting but unacceptable. Dr. Maddie should be ashamed of himself for his lack of compassion at a time when people need it the most.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr Maddi and staff. They took excellent care of my father.

This doctor came to the hospital after waiting nearly 2 weeks for him to tell my mother she had advanced stage 3 colon cancer. When he walked in the hospital room he was constantly looking at his phone, and would not take any questions, he rudely told us questions needed to wait until the office appointment. I am certain you can understand I am an only child and my mother is very sick, and all I was looking for was some comfort, some explanation of what the steps are and what the likely outcome would be. Is there anything we needed to do, any diet restrictions, anything. It's horrible to consider that the doctor that is suppose to be treating my mother is not truly interested in her well being, and it seems as if he is only in it for the financial reward. I do understand everyone has bad days, but when you chose to be an oncologist you need to set your feeling and personal life on the side, especially when you are telling someone they have colon cancer. Looking at your cell phone the… entire time, not taking questions, and then walking out of the room to take a call you said you had to take, and then never coming back tells me you don't care. You think patients have to stay with you because they don't have choices, and that's far from true. Needless to say I found a new doctor, one that is compassionate and truly cares about her patients. I hope Dr. Mattipatla reads this and takes it to heart because it was truly unthinkable as to how my mother was treated. I honestly think a vetrinarian would have done a better job!

Doctor is extremely rude even though you just find out you have colon cancer. He did not spend time with me and did not explain anything after dropping a bomb on me that I have advanced stage 3 colon cancer. When I tried to ask a question he tells me his office will call in 2 to 3 weeks to schedule an appointment and I could ask the . After he takes a phone call and walks out.

I can't imagine a more caring, loving Doctor. He has saved my life. If you find yourself in need, run don't walk, to Dr. Maddie.
