I have gone to three retina specialists because I was getting a differing opinion from each of them. I had a hard time understanding them because they rushed through the visit. I was referred to Dr Mukkamala by my regular eye doctor. My daughter, a physician, came from Connecticut to take me to this visit. We were both amazed by this doctor You feel that you are in the presence of a great human being. He is kind, patient, humble and so smart. He put all my fears to rest and made a concise plan that I could understand. Perhaps the best doctor I have been to in my 82 years. I would recommend him highly.

I was refereed to Dr Mukkamala from my Dr since I had definite eye sight loss and a large floater. His response was wait 6 months and come back. That wait made it so I will never regain my sight since I had a stroke in the eye and he didn't diagnose it. Run, never go to him if you value your eyes.

I saw Dr Mukkamala at the Marietta location for a second opinion about my blurred and distorted vision. He was attentive, informative and gave me options to help my vision. Made me feel comfortable and surgery is scheduled for 2 weeks. I will post an update.

My visit with Dr Mukkamala was the first, he was very professional and involve me in the explaining and was very patient doing so. He also have a sense of humor. He assure me that he would take of me like I was his aunt. That said a lot along with his vas knowledge in the field. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.

Dr. Mukkamala and his whole staff from the front reception and nurses were truly fantastic. They immediately set me up for a same day appointment when they heard about my symptoms. My wait time was the least I have ever had at a retinal specialist. He was very professional and spent more time explaining things to me than any type of doctor in the past. The staff was very efficient at organizing my surgery and with Dr. Mukkamala's expertise, I had a fantastic outcome.

I was sent to Dr. Mukkamala with a detached retina on a late Tuesday afternoon in Marietta. I didn't even think they would be there since I got there so late but low and behold they were. I was given all the information of my condition and what to expect in the surgery for the next morning and was put totally at ease. I have never seen a staff in all 3 locations that I had to go to ( pre-op visit, actual surgery facility, and post-op location) that was as friendly and kind and professional as was Dr. Mukkamala and his team. Absolutely beyond words. I thank him and his staff from the bottom of my heart for the kindness and care that they took in me. Five stars is not enough. Thank you all again so very much.
