Dr. Sridevi Koritala, MD

While all of Aurora suffers from bad gps, this office is really disorganized and the doctor does not listen. Had two major medical conditions ignored, and only addressed by urgent care/ER and my new doctor.

Dr. Koritala is not very attentive. I went to her for a general physical exam, which was my first time seeing her. She performed her very brief and not thorough exam then on her way out the door said, "I forgot to ask. So no issues with mental health, right?" I thought this was incredibly rude, and she acted as if she had no time for me whatsoever. I would not trust her with any sensitive medical information. Her bedside manner needs some serious work.

I have been going to Dr. Koritala for 11 years and now their location supposedly does not take my insurance. Without hesitation it feels as though they are pushing me to find another provider. They don’t initially offer to assist with the issue. In the 11 years I have visited Dr. Koritala I am usually not getting into the office until after my scheduled appointment. Nine times out of ten I have felt rushed and don’t get to explain all of my concerns. I am really disappointed because I have been seeing her for so long. In fact, I have been seeing her for that long, but realized I did not feel comfortable enough to tell her everything. I don’t like it when I am in excruciating pain and I get told that it should not be that bad. I get embarrassed and this makes me feel judged as well. I am a very laid back person and don’t like to inconvenience people with my issues, but one should feel comfortable enough with their doctors to confide in them. Patients should not be worried about… being judged for their issues. I look forward to finding a new doctor in another facility who will be more empathetic to my issues and actually want me to keep coming back to them.

I'd been having some problems with nausea, vomiting, and headache. Went in to figure out what was going on. Nurse asked me questions and asked me about my menstrual cycle. I was unsure but 98% positive I was not pregnant- I'd already taken one test and it was negative. The doctor came in asked me the same questions. She did not do any testing and told me that it was probably just too early to test for pregnancy. Gave me a prescription for nausea and told me to check back in a couple weeks- assuming that a pregnancy test would confirm. Earlier today I got an appointment with another Dr. after waiting an additional 2 weeks and 2 more negative pregnancy tests. Was confirmed today that I am not pregnant and have a stomach virus. Would not recommend Dr. Koritala to anyone.

Takes her time to explain information. Demonstrates concern for me as a patient and as a real person.

I was rushed through my visit and misdiagnosed as a result. She has no bedside manner, and I would not trust her to change my tires.
