Staff physician refuses to assist non Ascension providers per his own staff when requesting authorizations or other related care. We have never encountered an office more concerned about forcing their patients to an Ascension provider versus the best interests of the patient. Very poor circumstances if that is how you run a practice, money over care.

My wife and I agree that Dr. Rao is a great person and physician. When necessary, he sends us to specialists which he has pre-screened. When I was diagnosed with a life-threatening condition, he and his entire staff were encouraging, caring, and involved. In our opinion, he is tops.
