Dr. Srinivas Joga Ivatury, MD

I went in for hernia surgery and came out with an ileostomy. Not only that, but I have terrible problems with the ileostomy that now requires me to be on a permanent daily injection for the rest of my life. Everything that I eat and drink immediately goes directly into the pouch which prohibits me from doing most of the daily activities that I used to do. I must carry a backpack with supplies as well as a change of clothes due to fear of leakage, god know that this has happened on several occasions. One other terrible thing, I still have the hernia, which cannot be repaired. I would not recommend this doctor what so ever.

Dr. Ivatury is by far the best surgeon I have ever been in the care of. (unfortunately, I have had many) Very caring man, listens to all your concerns and answers all questions as though he were talking with his own family. Very professional as well. Great team. Although I hope I never need to see him again, he certainly be my first choice if I need to.
