Absolutely unbelievable, tries to take over all of your care even an Endocrinologist. Not his job, also constantly wants to do tests all the time to run up the bill, like EKG. If you've got an irregular heartbeat don't see him. If you need refills you have to see him each time, even if you were just there. Do not waste your time...

Dr Bala is a very good doctor and I don’t mind paying for his service. Love the fact that I can get my blood test or get an X-ray for my kids or and ultrasound, I have 3 kids and his office is available most of the time to see my kids even without an appointment no complaints.

Dr. Bala preys on patient's fear. Because he has an extensive laboratory, he does everything he possibly can to jack up your bill, whether it is needed or necessary. Remember you are your own health advocate and you can always say no . . . but how do you do that when a doctor that you have previously trusted and respected, insists you need "this and that" so that he can bill your insurance company? So beware!

My mother always told me if I didnt have anything nice to say, not to say anything at all. So ill leave it at that. I would rather wait 6 hrs in the ER then go back to this office.

Always can see Dr. Bala, even if no appointment. Great staff.

Lois in the billing department is very, very rude and condescending and not helpful at all. Make sure to check your bill thoroughly, there is something wrong with how they do and handle their billing.

Poor, poor judgement on ther part. I was having convulsions and other symptoms and was finallt sent to JHBAYVIEW Hospital and correctly diagnosed with conversion disorder. Dr. Bala's staff ordered a permanent Iv in my arm for daily dosing. JHH immediately wrote a.scrip to dc that iv immediately. Oh, the last visit my walk was unsteady as I was leaving the office i fell in hall right in from of Dr. Bala , he looked at me and turned his head, as if to say, i dont care about you, whose the next victim. I moved to a new state, this happened about 2011. I know he remembers me and I hope he sees this and weeps..god dont like ugly!

Dr. Bala is an outstanding doctor. He is very personable.

I went to see Dr. Bala for the first time a little over year ago. My doctor had retired. He was very thorough and went over all my medication. I went from taking 11 pills a day to three And I feel better than I have for years !

Dr Bala was great, I started seeing him about 5-6 years ago. I never missed an appointment, I never called for a refill, I just came in monthly, never did he begin to see me bi-monthly. Why? Because he is all about money $$$$ Say your heart races sometimes (from anxiety) you're getting a heart scan. Say your back hurts, you are getting injections, anything he will find a test to do or a lab to draw, just call him Mr. Fix it, except it was never fixed, just masked. Had me on about 8 different medications, posed as a pain mgmt. and psychiatrist and gp. Abruptly, at my last appointment with him he let me know that he could no longer fill any of my medications, that I would need to go to pain management and to a psychiatrist (fine, now I know what my real problem is), BUT HE COULD STILL FILL MY CYMBALTA....THAT IS A DEPRESSION MEDICATION???? Here is when I realized that he just wanted me to continue to come in there once a month for the money and prescribe me a medication that the… PSYCHATRIST that he was making me go to would fill anyway. Needless to say haven't returned and have a new PCP. Have requested my medical records x3, no response.
