Dr. Stacey Hollaway, MD

I have been going to this place since I was born and her office people are the most unprofessional and rudest people I have ever met. First off, I want to say that doctor Holloway is an amazing doctor and very likable person. However I believe that her office and front of the house is incredibly unprofessional and absolutely terrible. I have never encountered more entitled and unprofessional group of women. To start, I live over 2 hours away and wished to continue seeing doctor Holloway. I suffered health issues last year and wished to see doctor Holloway. I called to schedule an appointment and was not able to get in last min, which is fine because I’ll just see a doctor where I currently live. The office person on the phone told me they were not able to see me. But the nurse practitioner could. I said that’s fine if I can’t see the doctor I’ll just go in Columbus. I want to see dr Holloway- and I’m not going to drive over 2 hours to see someone else. No big deal.… Apparently that was misinterpreted and the receptionist documented that in my book. I call again to get into her months later and they said they will call me back. The office manager calls me back and is incredibly rude to me- I have never been spoken to like this before. And it is incredibly hurtful coming from a doctor’s office worker that I have been seeing since before I was 1 years old. The office manager tells me they will not be accepting me- and brought up quotes from a passed phone call saying I refused treatment from the nurse practitioner and insulted her credibility. Then went on to tell me how she is a professional and a licensed doctor, etc etc. I do not understand why they documented what I said and went and twisted it to such an absurd manner. The tone of her voice and the way she said/ completely out of line. I wanted to see dr Holloway because I have dealt with her since I was in diapers, I did not mean to upset or discredit the nurse . And I think it is absurd that her office people are so incredible, unprofessional, and petty to bring it to that level. I have never been so discouraged with the amount of entitlement and lack of professionalism Dr Holloway’s office manager has- for her to document my words and twist them like a high school girl has me in awe. Don’t waste your time with this pathetic group of people who run this office.

She has an amazing disposition. She is extremely thorough and caring. Her staff is so amazing and personable also. They make u feel cared for and special. If i call cuz my baby is sick,they ALWAYS get him right in. They find a way to see him immediately. And all parents know,when u have a sick baby,the parents are worried. They make u feel calm and get u in as soon as u walk in the door. No waiting. Last yearright before Christmas,there was a bad virus going around,the nurse came in the room and interrupted Dr Rebecca May to say the phone was ringing off the hook,she said "this is our last day open til xmas,get these people in. If we have to stay til 9:00 tonight,then so be it." THAT is dedication if i ever saw it...they care about their patients. Thats hard to find in a doctors office. And Dr Hollaway takes her time with patients. She never rushes you. Most offices make u feel like just a number. They are definitely the best. U feel more like family

Same complaint voiced on several visits, always given a medication, never any testing ordered to find reason for complaint. Emergency surgery and complaint is gone- never diagnosed until then- too many months of non diagnosis.

With multiple chronic health problems, I have been to too many doctors who haven't been able to get rid of me fast enough. Not Dr. Hollaway! She has been my primary care physician for about as long as she has been in practice. She works with me on treatments rather than dictating what is easiest for her and writing a prescription. She seems to know my medical history off the top of her head. I admire and respect this woman more than I could possibly put into words. My whole family goes to her and feels the same as I do.

I visited the good doctor who after a blood test had a nurse call me in a prescription for a statin. I called back asking for the cholesterol breakdown of my test results but was refused. I then asked talk to the Doctor. She (Dr. Stacey Hollaway, MD, Canton, OH) refused to call me back. Guess what? I refuse to ever talk to that medical professional again. And frankly, I am still looking for one I can trust.And if this isn't enough I started seeing her because my parents did. While I can appreciate that she had knowledge of my family's medical past it is HORRID that she breached all confidentiality and told me things about my family that I wouldn't want repeated.BAD DOCTOR - STAY AWAY.On top of that she CONSTANTLY criticized my home town.
