My son was treated by this surgeon while he was in the hospital. He has muscular dystrophy which can complicate surgery and she said she really was not comfortable doing surgery on him. Since the gallstone moved and blocked the bile duct and he became sepsis . A socialized surgery went in and removed the gallstone but she felt she did not want to remove the gallbladder with his medical issues. I suppose dying without surgery is a better option for her. When he was released we had a follow up appointment to discuss follow up gallbladder surgery once he regained his strength. In the meantime I asked his regular dr for a second opinion referral. The day before he was to see her she called and let us know she could see we had requested to see a second opinion Dr. She also said she thought we were not crazy about her and that she felt that going forward with the next day appointment “was a waste of time”. Seriously 1st you are worried about doing the surgery and we are suppose to feel… comfortable going into surgery with and 2nd you have the nerve to call the day before the appointment and actually say you think keeping the appointment is a waste of time. I said ok we won’t come. Thank the lord the next day we got an appointment with the second opinion Dr. He said without the surgery we would be having the same issue again in 2 years time. He said my sons has issues but he has patients with much worse health issues. Now who would you want to do the surgery -
