This individual has been posting this same lie other places on the internet, and it is completely inaccurate. Video surveillance conforms this and its sad that this person has chosen to do this.

Dr. Smith is a podiatrist to whom I was referred for my broken toe. My primary care physician HAD provided Dr. Smith’s office with my Medicare AND Humana Medicare Advantage Plan before making the referral. Apparently Dr. Smith’s office is not plugged in to the med network where all of my data is stored. Upon my arrival I was given a multi-page document to complete, to contain my ENTIRE medical history. I asked if they couldn’t just get all of this info from the network. The receptionist said they don’t use that. HOW HIGH TECH! I gave her my Medicare and Humana cards and sat down to begin filling in the history document. About mid-way through the first page, the receptionist informed me that they don’t accept my Humana Medicare Advantage plan, and that I would have to pay the $90 co-pay up front. I was shocked and asked if the referral person hadn’t provided my insurance coverage info. (Apparently they HAD.) Dr. Smith, in the next room, apparently hearing the displeasure in my… voice, appeared at the window. I explained that I had waited (with a broken toe) for 5 weeks to see her. (The referral from my primary care physician said “STAT”, but Dr. Smith replied that she determined that an earlier visit was not necessary, and that she didn’t like my tone and that I should check with my regular Doctor’s office. I said I would do that, right now, and began to dial my phone. Dr. Smith said that I should leave her office immediately, and closed the glass window separating the Waiting area from the reception desk. I said “OH DON’T BE RUDE!” Dr. Smith responded with “DON’T BE HERE!” Such sarcasm and inefficiency from a “medical professional” should only be rewarded with a review like this. Even if Dr. Smith was the best podiatrist in town, her rudeness and attitude, in my opinion, makes THIS doctor someone I would NEVER want to deal with. And now I’m letting everyone know.
