Dr. Staci Leigh Mchale, MD

Worst Dr I’ve ever seen. Wait times are 2+ hours. Nurses are condescending and rude. Dr is unprofessional and PA is also rude. Front desk never even picks up the phone. They will not get to the root of any issues. Symptoms never properly resolved. Can’t say enough poor things about this office. Don’t waste your time here. Many other Drs to choose from.

I’m not sure how Dr. McHale is praised so highly by people. She’s rude, condescending, and has terrible bedside manner. If you have an atypical pregnancy or other things wrong with you that is not common, she will not be supportive. Terrible doctor.

Dr. McHale ordered many prenatal tests for me without even meeting me and without checking my medical records from previous med. provider... She even ordered a sonogram test which her own technician told me it’s too early for me. Then she wanted to take samples from me for STD without consultation and without even meeting me and establishing doctor-patient relationship... because, according to her medical assistant, “she needs to obtain and review my medical records from previous doctor before she can meet and consult me.” I refused these test until I meet the doctor and have a chance to talk to her - I don’t think it’s even legal to do all these testing without meeting doctor and without informed consent from a patient! That’s sound to me against medical rules. I asked to rescheduled my appointment so Dr. McHale has time to obtain and review my medical records, but was told she cannot reschedule me if I decline to do tests for STD right now. But I’m not even sure whether they are… safe for pregnant women, she never met me or talked to me about them or about her care in general... I think patients need to meet a doctor and have at least a brief consultation before sonogram or other medical tests, especially pregnant women. It looks to me like dr. Stacy McHale practices unethically and unprofessionally. Best of luck to everybody!

They took out my IUD successfully and that's the only positive thing I have to say about Dr. McHale's practice. If you have money to waste, definitely go here. It's a racket. I was upfront and very vocal about being a self-paying patient. I asked the cost and the necessity of each lab taken. Answer? "It will give us a better picture of your health and the cost isn't much." Want to know that lab bill I received in the mail? $850. Eight HUNDRED and fifty DOLLARS for blood work. That's on top of the office visit of $150. But that, my friend, wasn't the tipping point. I've had my annual exam (by Celeste Tunnel, PA who is at this clinic), everything is fine. After my IUD was removed (I hated it â?? not their fault) she prescribed birth control. I requested that I be put on Loestrin 24 because thatâ??s what I used to use. When I got to the pharmacy, sheâ??d prescribed me Gildess (which BTW has SUPER low ratings on Drugs.com). But I gave it a shot. It was apparently too low… of a dose to stop my periods (and the other ladies on Drugs.com who rated it 4.9 out of 10 for birth control), so I have bled for two weeks straight for FOUR months. Let me tell ya, that's been great for the marriage and sex life. But, I waited like a good patient to see if my body would adjust. It didn't. So I called and asked to be put on Loestrin like I originally requested. My old gyno would just call in a new Rx when we were searching for a BC that worked. But not Celeste Tunnel, PA. She wanted me to come back in for a consult...for another office fee of $150. And they wanted to do blood work again!!! Insult to injury: When I finally relented to an appointment they were going to make me wait a week for this five minute consult, which would have made me miss my Sunday start. When I asked if there was anything sooner, the lady said â??let me checkâ?? and never called back. Great customer service. Iâ??ll be switching for sure.

First I want too thank doctor McHale for her patience with myself and my husband durning my first pregnancy. We felt not only comfortable with her but felt our baby was safe. She spent almost four hours in the delivery room while I pushed and let me pull my baby on to me. She never once said she needed to do a c section for time. I'm so blessed for that. She explains everything and take all precautions when needed . the reason for the 3/4 stars is the staff, my first year going here back in 2012/2013 we felt like royalty , now our second pregnancy 2014/2015 the staff up front leave much to be ldesired. We look forward to seeing her practice grow but with greater precaution to her employees. And appointment times.

I feel very safe with Dr. McHale and staff looking after me during my first pregnancy. The wait is worth it and there is a good reason for it. She spends as much time as she needs to in order to make sure that I leave feeling secure and confident about my pregnancy. I never feel rushed. She is very knowledgeable and will do everything in her power to make sure that you are getting great care. I really love the office staff (Betty, Alicia, and Heather) too. It is very rare to find a female OB in Las Vegas in private practice. It is nice knowing that I will see the same doctor every time I go into her office. It has been such a pleasure being her patient and I look forward to a wonderful and safe birth/baby in the future.

I went to Dr. McHale after 8 years of dealing with my dr regarding a hysterectomy. She believed me! We scheduled the proceedure and have felt great ever since. The best decision I have ever made. I really like her and would recommend to any one in need. The wait can be a little excessive at times but at least you know she spends the amount of time you need with you as a patient.

Staci McHale is one of the worst Dr's I've ever had. I didn't feel like she knew what she was doing at all...and didn't feel safe with her during my pregnancy so I switched Dr's! The office wait was always over an hour. The staff is unfriendly & unprofessional. If you care about yourself & your baby I would recommend a different OB!!

This doctor is awful. Services she offers were misrepresented to me by staff. Does not review medical records. At least I know never to return to this deficient physician.

Dr. McHale is a great doctor and very caring. She is always willing to spend time to talk with you about what is going on. Recently I was put in the hospital for another surgery and I e-mailed Dr. McHale to let her know what was going on, since I had just had a baby. Dr. McHale stopped by a few different times to check on me in the hospital after my surgery. It is nice to have a doctor who really cares about her patients.
