I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life. I was scared with no information about what I had just gone through, and I was talked down to like a piece of trash. Somehow for a vertebral artery dissection (mind you I still have no reason for it) I was given 3 referrals for therapy, because I was told all of my issues was stress and anxiety related. For a dissection. Get real. I was also told by her ‘student’ shadowing that because of the meds I was on that I get judged a certain way when I come in to the hospital. For the meds that I didn’t want in the first place but I was never believed so they just shoved whatever they could think of at me. My body has also been going numb for 25 years, which is apparently a migraine symptom, and she dismissed it. I’ve never complained about a doctor in my life but this was the worst I’ve ever been treated and I have serious PTSD about going to any doctor since.
