Worst dr I ever saw

Dr. Uyekubo was instrumental in my recovery from alcohol addiction. Helped me see and prioritize things in my life. She patiently listened to me and asked questions that made me think. I highly recommed Dr. Uyekubo.

Not even joking, I would have committed suicide if it weren't for her constant work with me to try different medications. She has helped with my anxiety, depression, and ADHD for years and is always open to changing meds if something isn't working for me. She's not the kind of doctor who just throws meds at you, she really does care about her patients and their wellbeing. Five stars, amazing doctor.

She's an excellent listener who obviously got the point of me from the get go. She's very accommodating with scheduling, etc. but what really set her apart for me was the idea that this is the way it's supposed to be: Combining the empathy of a therapist with the training and tools of a physician along with an added expertise in pharmacology. I don't know what I would have done without Dr. Uyekubo.

Called and email serval times did not respond. And came in to make an appointment yesterday and was treated like a criminal and a thief . She though I was going to steal her bathroom key. Was scared that I just showed up to make an appointment to talk about ssn. And recorded my session with her give permission. After working with her for 7years. And the only th in ng she could say was sorry.

This woman was my doctor for 3 years. She had my trust. I have my issues, that’s why I’m in therapy. She put me on a variety of medications. Some good, some bad. And it seemed like she didn’t even record my side effects, as many didn’t work. She always wanted me on the one she wanted. One particular, which did not work for me. Then, out of the blue, with no warning In response to an email requesting a refill for medication AND asking for an appointment time I get an email saying” I no longer want to be your doctor. “Wait, what?! After 3 years?! Anxiety and stress are paramount in my life and she knows that, and she doesn’t even have the decency to tell me like a human being, to my face in an end session like my previous therapist did, that she no longer wishes to care for me. I’m a human being! How could you just throw me away. We are not just patients on a file. Names on a page. Claims to put through insurance. We are human beings going through hard times. I’ve lost over 75 lbs due to… stress and hunger (from being poor, I couldnt afford to miss work to see her or the copay at times). I can not believe it. Now I must scramble to find a physician to take care of me as I take medications daily as I have for 3 years!! And she knows that. I can’t just go off it in a day. My brain would trip out! What a way to treat your patients. Please beware that this is what happened to me. And it could happen to you!

I saw this physician after my regular doctor went out of private practice. This doctor kept persisting that I take a course of medication that I was not comfortable with. When I told her what works well with me, and what my prior doctor recommended, she continuously argued her suggestion even after I made it clear that I was not comfortable with that choice. She does not listen well at all, and is not willing to hear you, rather insists that its her way or no way at all. Should absolutely not be in patient care.

very good dr. very caring. doesn't make you feel bad about yourself and has helpful suggestions and advice on how to handle things
