Dr. Stacy Deann Mickey, MD

Reviews are very subjective -- but it's my hope to give one that any viewer can see how great Dr. Mickey is - by stating what's important to me. I like a doctor that makes feel like they have my best interest at hand. Dr. Mickey does that and more. She wants me to be healthy- not on medications - so if I don't need the meds - she will say - gotta stop eating this or put more of this in your diet. If I do need meds - she works with me and gives me the history of the medications and we both make an informed decision. That's what I want in a doctor. She is the expert - but does not make you feel like your input does not matter - because after all we do know our own health history as well. Easy 2 set up appointments, get test results-- and one I'm a little surprised-- her response time on the patient portal is almost text fast (like she was waiting for you 2 write). All in all- I have been lucky with doctors that care about my well being and I highly recommend Dr. Mickey. Quick example-… I needed a colonoscopy - the insurance gave me a doctor ( who was just the opposite of Dr. Mickey) so I asked her to put a referral in for another GREAT doctor. She did with no hesitation and quickly. And yes-- I told her reason I needed to switch. The reason: Being nervous and remembering what happened to me before, I simply asked him during the interview process "the last time I did this - I had aspirated during the procedure and then that night I had severe chills that eventually turned into hot flashes"- "Do you know what can cause this?"- All he said was-- "I don't know - I wasn't there"! So guess who found another doctor to do the procedure? :)

Very professional and caring…a special person/Doctor. Doctor and her staff are outstanding.. We have recommended her to other people including one of our physician specialists ..

My wellness visit was Monday at 9:30. It was timely and informative. Dr Mickey is very personable and easy to talk to about anything. I will look forward to my return in six months.

DR.MICKEY and LONI ALWAYS make you feel like the most important person in the office. They ALWAYS take the time for patients Not just "cattlecall" you in and out. Been with DR.MICKEY & LONI for a long time and will continue to stay with them

Dr. Always listens and asks me the right question for what is going on with my body. She is patient and always helpful. She has been my Primary Care physician for 6 years or so.

My new patient appointment was great, from the office through the lab person at the end. They were knowledgeable and very respectful to an elderly person, especially Dr Stacy. She has a special way of explaining things, very likable personality. I will not be reluctant to ask her anything about anything, and look forward to my next visit with her.
