Misapplied anesthetic. Complained throughout about having to do the procedure. Ouch.

Impatient, borderline rude, insensitive to my excruciating pain and concerns, ready to dash to the door, hardly responsive to FollowMyHealth SOS pleads, absolutely unapologetic in the follow up visit. I had it! I would give -ve stars if this website allowed.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Sharp until this guy. My PCP is a great doctor, caring, attentive, excellent follow up and always on top of things. So I ignored these ratings when she referred me to Dr Besser. MISTAKE. These ratings are accurate. No idea where Sharp gets those +ve ratings to put on their website for this guy.

Dr Stanely Besser have been treating me for osteoarthritis for several years. He is always efficient, knowledgeable and caring. He is the best doctor I know that give almost painless joint injections using the best products. I am grateful for his professionalism and care in reducing my knee bone on bone pain.

Showed no knowledge of my condition and was fixated on his 15-20 min appointment stop. Hard to understand how this can pass for a specialist with the high fees.

This was the worst doctor visit probably possible. I left this appointment in hysterical tears he is rude, not thorough, and completely disregards the patient. I have never felt more disrespected in my life and as though I wasted all my time and money to see this joke of a physician. He did absolutely nothing but deflect and say “this isn’t an easy fix” maybe someone else might know the answer. Zero reassurance of any support and frankly provided aero medical advice whatsoever.

Dr. Besser really seems to know his area of medicine very well and is willing to spend the necessary time. However, each time I've seen him, it seems like he is having a bad day or is just "burnt out" on his practice.
