Chalked my child’s serious concerns up to anxiety and missed a severe infection diagnosed by a large provider in Philadelphia. He likes to talk about himself and is incredibly dismissive and egotistical. I would go so far as to use the word narcissist. If you want competent care from someone who didn’t drunkenly crash his car, I suggest you go somewhere else for your child’s care.

If you don’t care about your child’s health, by all means, go to Doctor Blondek. He will doubt your concerns. Just go through the motions. And make you feel as if you are overreacting when you have questions about your child. When we questioned him about a possible nut allergy in my son, his response to us was “just don’t give it to him.” Thank goodness he left the practice and we got a new pediatrician. Our new pediatrician listened to us, ordered a blood test, and it turns out our son does have a nut allergy. Dr. Blondek is a poor excuse for a doctor and you need to find someone else.

Dr. Blondek has been my daughter's pediatrician since her birth in 2009 and I could not imagine going to another doctor. As a first time mother, I had a lot of questions during her first year and whether on the telephone or in office, Dr. Blondek answered each and every one, kindly. He listens and takes into consideration a parent's concern and has never steered me wrong in the healthcare of my daughter. Two thumbs up!
